I'm a Grad student in English. Got the MA last year, and pushing toward the PhD right now. Hopefully I'll be a prof. in a few years time, dazzling my students with my ability to count to 10,000 in multiple languages. ;) I gather you're planning to teach too. What age students are you looking to teach?

Doscientos noventa y tres - I plan on teaching high school students. Who knows, you might be able to teach me some new languages, so that I can better communicate with my students, which, I can assure you, will be very diverse in languages.
Well, I seem to have accumulated an unhealthy number of dead languages, but if I can ever help you out with the living ones I'll do my best. Highschool should be a good age to teach. Are you doing teacher training right now, or completing your BA?

Good for you, piglet. That's a wonderful time. I remember very clearly starting my first year of high school and feeling quite grown-up. I hope you enjoy it.

297 I have one more semester to go before I can do my student teaching, and along with that, I'm going to be taking 2 or 3 other classes, so that I can graduate next May.
Piglet, good luck with high school. Those were the best years for me.

Why do so many people say they hated high school?
299, I can't even imagine what it would be like to be homeschooled. Do you like it, or would you prefer to go to an actual school?
As to your last question, I have no idea. I made friends that actually liked me, and we loved annoying our teachers. :D
300 I don't know! I have always been home educated. By the time you get to be my age, it seems more like self education, but that's just me and my sister
