Yes mine's right. I enjoyed the football yesterday, it was a lot more attacking then you usually get at the start of a tournament, let's hope it continues like that, very promising. I do not fancy England's chances though, it must be the worst team for at least 20 years, I'm going to look back over the teams in a bit.

It was not the game I expected at all. Were the teams too cautious? Portugal was the shadow of their usual passionate self.

I still don't know what to make of the squad. Being a Liverpool supporter technically I should be thrilled, but I feel like they all under performed the past season and it might shine through to their international games. I reckon there's been a lot less pressure on the players this time. The big hitters last time seemed to fold - Rooney in particular. Carroll could do really well in these games. He's taken his time to get going since leaving Newcastle, but he was coming good and looked hungry for Liverpool.

It was a good game with France. They looked very good, but England were solid most of the time. Their goal was a brilliant shot seen late by Joe Hart the goalie. He might have saved it otherwise. Our goal was a good piece of set piece play.
There were some good flashes from England - Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner and Welbeck played well in attack, and the defence was excellent.
