wow, spacesuits and simultaneous guitar raising! Gotta go for the original for this one- not just for the suits, but also for the guitarwork and slow pace, though the two versions are almost completely different, and the Ray Charles version is also way cool.

Mad World. Both versions were good and i would usually say that the cover version will never be better than the original and I still hold that but if there is a cover version that come close to the original, it would be this.

As for preference, I'm finding it difficult to decide. I too, typically I go with the "original" or older variant, but in this case I had to flip a coin; best 2 out of 3 with Ole Blue Eyes as Heads.

Maroon 5 gets my vote.
