I am always a male since I was born.(Nothing to say, beside that.)
I'm male, have been since birth, and see no need to apologise for said fact. ;)
I'm a male; surprising to see more males than females on a literature forum. My English classes are always way more girls than guys.
I'm a female! :)
I'M a somewhat young gentleman
Hello there I am new to see what all lies here??
Now the number of males have crossed the number of females by a huge margin
Male, weighing in on the Gentlemen's Camp!
Male. I'm glad to see that the difference of the amount of males/females is not too big on this forum. I'm sure it's much worse on other ones!
Hmm, I am surprised, there are a lot more males than females on this forum.
I always thought that women tend to read more.
didn't know men were more interested in books than women...interesting.
maybe cause from the place I am the only one who reads classics is me:(
Judas Priest! I never knew that men out numbered women here!
It's still the internet after all.
..just thought there would be more women than men on here. It's fine. Each guy has a girl, if we are ever stranded. Wink Orphanpip.
I'm not sure I want the leftovers lol.
So at least 101 other men read. Who knew?
There aren't enough options on this poll.
This is indeed a different turn of poll as for years females outnumbered the males on this Forum.
Wonder what is behind the change...
Female readers tend to have more friends who read than male readers? But then that wouldn't explain it changing. (All I know is I'm one post closer to being able to vote in the classical lit. book club section.)
In the interchange of cultural backgrounds I faced in the world, never found a clearly defined "man" or "woman". There is a predominant gender in a person but always there are some traits from the opposite side (see Schehrezade avatar). :smile5:
So, I guess it would be difficult to determine how much progesterone or testosterone has the forum.
Lets assume half and half, and celebrate!! :drool5:
I wonder! Where are all the girls?
Busy reading, I s'pose. No time for such trivial polls!
:D
This begs the question. Why so few book clubs for men? Yet, you see most literature forums half filled with men.
Though I kind of believe gender is a spectrum instead of a black and white classifcation, I kind of wonder why it matters what the male to female ratio is of anything. It kind of seems like it's like looking for something to be sexist about. But I'm hypersensitive about these things so feel free to ignore me
I am a biological male.
One more girl!!
+1 for Men.
Only by a small percent there is an increase in number of men.
Earthlings can only be male or female?
I have voted but I could not understand what's the reason behind this voting?
