Only because I associated the name Dori with being feminine. I hadn't actually talked to you yet! Don't worry, Dori, I don't think YOU'RE feminine or anything haha.

My first impression of lima was that she reminded me of a girl that i used to have a thing for.... but that has since changed, and now she reminds me soo much of my little sister :)
Really? how come?
O.o
Well for the girl that i had a massive fling with, your both classicly beautiful, very strong, believes in their own point of view, likes to argue, and the attempts of tapping into the forseen 'nerdy' subculture.
My little sister is 12, and she just has that sort of... beachy relaxation that you seem to posess. She is getting into the zombie games and loves to watch all the gooky cartoons like yourself. And i see an innocence in you, that i can see in my little sister, as if you take everything in stride and can't stand to hurt others around you, although you do what you must. A passionate person.
Apart from the age difference between your sister and myself, I accept that :)
I thought Chava was a guy and even wrote a birthday poem to that effect!
My first impression of Weisinheimer was that she(or he???I don't know sure I am stupid) likes coffee.
Newer people I gues that covers most people comapred
to you doesnt it ? He does,
Ok apparntly time has dulled my memory, it wasnt kilted that was the victim of mean kids but nasty kids that were kilted's victims. Ok so I amend my impression of kilted to northern light, crazy scottish dude, and irnbru seriously I couldnt see a bottle of irn bru for like 3 years without thinking of kilted ( it was his avy for tht long) then there was an incedent with an exploding bottle, and mango chutney ( enough sai about that I think) but that now replaced my association with irn bru!:D
IronBru is nice. cant get it over here anymore. :(
When I first came across Lily Adams, I thought she had a lot of style! She had this sort of 19th century theme and it was tres cool. She seemed like one of those rare high schoolers who was brave enough to have some real style.
I thought The Atheist had great views and was a wonderful attribute to a discussion a bunch of us were having.
Skasian - I thought was a guy at first
Kiz - I thought was very kind and very involved with everyone on this site :D
I still really like the 19th century, guys...it'll all about the 18th, though, I think.
Nope! Boy was I needin' some Dev-O!
Ironically enough I don't like Jane Austen.
I call people sir (men only obviously) in real life! Just writing it seems to cause a lot of attention, I guess, so I stopped.
Anyways, thanks, guys. I love you all!

Oh impression of mono, well I first read his name as momo, welcoming kind and always had time to stop and leave a nice comment about someone's poems. To nick drama's words tres cool.
:D
Thanks!
I was the same with P-hed...thought you were a girl, but i found out pretty quickly you werent! (photoalbum thread is a great thing!) If it helps in the mistaken "sex" area, Toni thought i was a guy.
thought you were smart, and I always remembered loving your avy.
aww yay! :D Glad to be making good impressions :D
I thought drama was really cool and nice because she was one of the first people to really welcome me here :). And I still think that!
I thought Classic was older than she is, and I thought libri was younger than he is! :p
I thought andy was sweet, and I still think that :)
lima already know she scared me with her coolness :p:D
Oh any of you guys remember Antiquarian? I always thought she was happy and relaxed, and that was right... Then she left :(
Oh, how could I forget Pensy? A charming young woman, witty, accepting, accomodating, talkative, and most of all creative.
Sprinks was this cool newbie that liked to do rounds in the games thread with me! (and i would tell off for being up late! and i still do! :brow: )
I thought Niamh was wonderful :D
I have strong opinions - but no, I have a lot to learn when it comes to literature. Hence my being here.
It's funny though, reading what a lot of people have said, it seems as though a lot of people had a bad first impression of me. I don't mean the people who have posted on this board - because so far the impressions have been good. But, just a general thing i've noticed. I don't know why though..
I don't recall really having a bad first impression of anyone. I had some reserved first impressions, but the people I actually really don't like ( yes there are such people!) I didn't start to not like them until I'd been here a while.
With all my compliments to you, dear Mono :)
Now you have competitor here, Mono. Logos is also too delicate for a guy! Geezes....Quote:

Uncle Virg - a real fun both virtually and in reality
shoutgrace - whom I miss very much
oh lima i didnt mean to offend you! I know you arent one of them... me and my mouth!
No, no, no! I know you didn't mean to, infact.. you didn't mean to offend me at all.
I was just making an observation that most people here have been, I think, wary of me? at first? I don't know how to explain it.
hahaha, I thought logos was a guy too. She had that test pattern avatar, then when she changed it I was like wow, logos isn't a guy.
Wary might be a good word, but only because you're new. New people come and go but only a few stay. I haven't seen a lot of your posts so I don't have much of an opinion to go on (although you did shut me down in the Soundgarden thread!) but you seem smart and nice.
