Concpiracy: There is no Moon

*Confused* Does the Bible say there is a moon? I thought it was written long before Galileo...

In Genesis, it says that God created the sun moon and stars on the fourth day.

Ooh. What did he do till then? And by what are we measuring "days"? A day is simply the time one full rotation of a planet takes.

Re last couple of posts, Ps. says something like, "When I consider the moon, the sun and the stars, what is man that Thou art mindful of him, and the Son of man that Thou visitest him? Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels." Hamlet (ie. Shakespeare) certainly took a look at that verse when writing "What a piece of work is man ..."

Cyano de Bergerac has a whole scene about the moon when he delays the bad-guy, de Guiche, explaining how he fell from the moon.

Don't two sweethearts sit and talk about the moon late in Merchant of Venice? Maybe not.

Caliban is also called, "mooncalf" isn't he?

It follows therefore in logic, there must be a moon.
