*salutes* Mission accomplished captain! Eagerly awaiting the next one! :D
AdoreroDio, this stopped because there was weirdness going on at home... see my blog. You are newly in charge of the efforts, here. The thread is yours. I will be posting ideas at my blog under the category of "revive Litnet"
Thank you so much for your support.
An excellent action to take would be to increase the maximum length for stories in the short story contest to 4000 or 5000 words. 2000 words, the present limit, is almost enough to get started with.
*salutes* right-e-o captain. Thanks and your welcome- just doing my duty.:D
To Peter- The challenges are things everyone can do- we have no sway in the word lengths for the short story contests- sorry.
I have a question for everyone- seeing as new ideas will at some point become hard to come up with everyday I was wondering what you thought to a bi-daily challenge meaning one challenge every two days. This would also help those litnetters who want to participate but aren't on every day. Please give me a yes or no and as soon as I have a group consensus I will begin or not begin to do this only once every two days. Thanks!
Also, I will post the challenges in green and bold so that you can see them easily.
I'm basically saying what Anza says in her blog-
Litnet allows you to rate blogs-- USE THE FEATURE!!
I vote for bi-daily challenges
I am terrible, here I was excited to revive this wonderful thread and then I let my busy life entangle me AND I don't post for 8 DAYS! I am terribly sorry. Seeing as the bi-daily thingy hasn't become a majority from now on I will be on here daily to post a challenge until more people say otherwise. You have my promise.
Todays challenge: Post in a thread you've never posted in before, more than once! Then come tell us about the thread, in this thread! (For those new to this thread posting in this thread doesn't count ;) :p )
Tomorrows challenge: Use Smilies in every one of your posts today! Brighten up your posts.
Me first- I posted in two new threads because after no response to mine in the first one I didn't think I could post more than once in that thread before getting of the computer. The first thread I visited I can't remember the exact name of but is the "Challenge Thread:Stephanie Plum- Joe or Ranger" or something like that. Pretty interesting but not many people know who Joe and Ranger are, as I didn't until I read the thread and read up on it.
The second thread I visited was "Which Authors Life Most Intrigues You".
Lets get Litnet moving again!!
 Yay! I was actually thinking about this the other day :D
How about writing a book review for one of the "already-reviewed-books" or for a new one by September 20th?
