Ahh.... An old fart just sitting there on the porch complaining and bickering about the harmless cat-on-knee. Being really old sounds great to me. (woohoo I made a rhyme)
As for our vallient archer. I'm bringing my guess down ... late teens.
Its the gumshoeing that digitalCrash and others did that is convincing me.
Now where's the fun in that? I rather liked being thought of in terms of my wordsmithing and maturity level.
I am going to guess 28. No particular reason I just like the number.
well in that case I guess 6 ( my fav number  )
or 24.
when you hear 20 somthing what do you think?
I have four numbers in front of me.....:close eyes and points:....
The lucky number is........ 27(?) ;)
I will stick to my guess 15-17.
This thread is hilarious!!! Robin's built up a lot of anticipation.
The days are ticking by...thirteen more days until it's time.
I can't wait.
You'd better not disappoint us. :D
Yes seventeen does seem to be a number worth thinking about. The thing is he is old enough to have had relationships and still be in contact with them as friends later on. He has been in more than one so let us say the average teenage one lasts six months to a year, oh I don't know. Any other hints M'Lord? And what was that you just said wordsmithing, that is a singular expression. Either you are a child genius or a young thinking twenty or thirty year old something.
Virgil-no that did not include that. He asked once about that and I explained and he looked at his baby brother and then me and asked in a shocked and greatly disappointed voice " you did that TWICE ?" I felt like crawling under a log and staying there. we are rather a cerebral Sherlock Holmes type of a family so looking back I can see his point of view. You never mention if you have little ones.....do you?
M'Lord do you have any little ones by the way?
No, actually, I don't. Eventually, I hope to have children, but as of yet, no.
M'Lord this is so stressful! I see a haze with a boys's head, a young man's body and an old man's shuffle. Oh hurry sweet day when our leader must throw off his mask and cloak and reveal his sweet self.
I say in my profile that I'm married, but have no children. Unless we adopt it's too late for us.Quote:

@Robin can I ask for your astrological sign because it will be easier for me to guess your age. are you a libra?
@kaltrina how does astrological sign help.....
@robin ...can i ask for your year of birth...that would make the work so much more easier!!!!
@Eva of course the year can help a lot. lol  that's a really good thought....
the sign helps because I know a lot about personalities according to astrological signs so once I know Robin's sign then I'd remove my doubts, at least I hope so... :D
If you must know, I am indeed a Libra (I'm impressed, Kaltrina!). And if anything, I'd prefer to be the old man's head with a man's body and a youthful swagger. :p
And sorry, smilingtearz, I'm keeping the year to myself for now.
bad luck i suppose!!
I knew that because of your personality.... and I must say I believe you are between 27-30.... I hope I'm not wrong... ;)Quote:

well to be more precise I could guess your sign when reading to your jokes, which are the type of jokes that only libras use. you joke in a way that it makes people think you are serious and scared of your jokes, not that i want to say that you are sarcastic or anything but the way you make jokes people are attracted to you and they somehow like to make a good impression about themselves...now I'll tell you something about libras but only in general because i don't know you so good to know how your personality is... libras have a very strong character and they seem very dangerous and self confidential which makes other people be scared of your opinions and judgements...but deep down inside you are very sensitive and have a hidden world inside there which no one must know, otherwise you'll feel weak... anyways you are very good friends, people can really rely on you and you try to help people as much as you can. you're funny, have a really good sense of humour even though kind of weird... you're hardworking.... no matter how old you are you have a young spirit which helps you fit with everyone, young or old... you don't feel comfortable when people get to know you better than anyone else and if you don't like a person to know you, then immediately you change your attitude and convince the person he/she is wrong in thinking he/she knows you.... well there are many things that I can't remember right now.... tell me if anything matches your personality and please if I said anything wrong or that you don't like ...than sorry... :)
Hmm...most of the things up until "you don't feel comfortable when people get to know you better" were true at least in part. But then, that's a common trend in astrology :p . Plus, I don't really mind letting people into my inner world--a lot of me goes on my sleeve, or at least, that's how I perceive myself as behaving. And by all means, call me sarcastic. After all, I am.
well ok then, yes you tend to be sarcastic at times, but that only happens because you are always very sincere with your opinions... and another things, these things I don't get from astrology, this is me... I always analyse people...I ask people of their signs and when I stay a lot with that person and many other persons with the same sign I make comparison and I found what do they have in common, that is how I created my own analyses and I only rely on those, not any astrological thing... :D
hahahaha Hello Kaltrina, I miss you, how are you doing. I see you are still your ravishing self.
Now why did I not think to ask Sir Robin his birth year. Dah
Good day M'Lord. Have you come to any decision as yet about our outerwear? Our inner wear, if you pardon me-I am not trying to be rude- is none of your beeswax.
And THANK YOU for my gorgeous Christmas gift. Now if I get caught in the woods by Lady Scher and she wants to oust me I shall scream-none of that fair lady for I have a forever pass and besides that I'M TELLING M'LORD ON YOU HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT EH? (that silly Canadian eh, it does seem to creep into one's conversation no matter how lofty.
"the woods ring with the cry Robinhood Robinhood,
he is proud, courageous and always good
His eyes roam the woods here and there
He takes no guff from Lady Scher"
hello Rachel... I'm fine thanks... nice to see you online.. ;)
I got an idea... since we're asking Robin questions, let's make a game out of that. This should make things more challenging. Alright, each of us can only ask 1 question, and Robin should answer them, if we team up though, we should have his age in no time. Where's the fun and challenge in that? so... to prevent that, each of our questions can not be related to past questions that have already asked (so we can not ask about his astrology sign twice, brothers and sisters twice, etc.). Also if we ask for his birth year or current age, that'd be the easiest way to solve it. So no asking that type of stuff either
Ehh...fine, but I reserve the right to reject a question if I find it too personal.
Don't do it, Robin. You're going to blow the mystery.
I think Robin is either 15 or 16.
Really? Why 15 or 16?

You've mentioned being a teenager before. The various contexts of which have led me to those ages.Quote:

Robin, I also don't recall you saying that you were a teenager but I think that you are 15-17 *wishing that her guess will work*
Well considering his responce to the suggestion that he might have accidently said teenager Id say he isnt one but hasnt not been one for that long!
digital i like the idea of questions ok so here is mine
How many British Pms have served in your life time?
Im saying this becayuse they seem to serve forever so it doesnt really narrow it down that much
Four. Next question!
4!
well lets see that puts him older than 7 who was before blair? major wasnt it?
Oh my all of thatcher that makes you old!! I weas right in the begginng hes over 30
James Callaghan 1976-9 Labour
Margaret Thatcher 1979-90 Conservative
John Major 1990-97 Conservative
tony blair 1997- today
so you are between 26-29
okay then maybe I wasnt right boooooooo hissss silly maths
so someone find a question that narrows down which year he was born in between 1976-1979.
:D
Oh, my mistake, sorry--three. I was looking at the wrong set of dates.
