Sindhu is a lovely, honest person who brings her emotions to life for all us through her words. She is a most welcome addition to our little group.
ihrocks
:D I like Sindhu, she's wicked smart.
Anyway, ihrocks is that little angel of reason that sits on my shoulder. Honestly, I'd probably be in jail right now if it wasn't for her good sense and wisdom.
I'd give her a big, warm hug if I could. ;)
"Wicked smart?" MOI!!? You're sure you aren't thinking of someone else? ;)Quote:

hmm.. I don't know that much about Sindhu, but I think she's here right now at the same time as me, which I think's pretty cool so I thought I'd throw a few compliments her way. Sindhu strikes me as very passionate about literature; books in general, not just society's idea of literature wink . Unpretentious and intelligent, willing to read Shakespeare alongside Judy Blume, and someone I'd definately admire for their english skills. What part of india are you in by the way?
From what I've seen of fayefaye's posts, she's really intelligent, ready to make up her own mind and stick to it- and very lovable in the way she uses the" " emoticon when she says she doesn't like Shakespeare or Conrad!
(You really shouldn't, IMO, you know fayefaye- your reading range is remarkable and you have nothing to go  about!) Someone said earlier fayefaye is certainly the forum sweetheart, I'd agree with that the whole way! And if I say this much now, imagine WHAT I'm going to say when I know her a bit better!
BTW, to answer your question, I'm from Kerala state in India, the southern most point of India actually.
I can't believe you think I'm intelligent based on my posts... 'intelligent' seems to be the standard here, though, so maybe in comparison with all the rest of you I'm average. Actually, I had a really bad day today (Hindenburg bad) ( so I really needed a compliment, though today I realised I actually.. somewhat hate being intelligent. oops I mean, you all know what it's like, right? I prefer behaving stupid, it's so much easier, happier.. Sorry, I'm bringing too much personal stuff here. oops
I think you seem like quite the sweetie, Sindhu, I don't know whereabouts that part of India is, but I have a lot of Indian friends (they're all incredibly nice, kind people-just like u!).. I can say 'You are crazy' in Hindi. D Do you speak Hindi or one of the other dialects? (hmm.. I think in the South they speak Telugu.. among others, but I'm not really sure)
Sorry to hear about the bad day, fayefaye. I wish you a better tomorrow.
You not only have the gift of intelligence, but also perception, and both can be a double-edged sword. Sometimes foolishness is a refuge, nothing goes too deep, so nothing can hurt. But then life is so empty. I think it's better to open oneself, even though it's sometimes painful, to the deeper and more meaningful experiences in life. For, while the lows will be lower, the highs are also higher and more rewarding.
Be strong, our fayefaye, I'll keep you in my thoughts today.
ihrocks
thanks ihrocks. i really appreciate that. foolishness is a refuge though, that's kind of what makes it so great, you know? sometimes i just wish the real world would just stop bothering me. It seems like the lows are lower, but the highs aren't any higher at all, lower in fact. cry sorry, have i hijacked this thread a bit? ok, i should probably get back on track.
ihrocks is kind and considerate. her posts are all quality. i can definately see why abdo would describe her as an 'angel of reason' because she definately is just that. I hope you have a good day, too. wink
You can't be foolish if you aren't fayefaye, if that hurts, its a curse you've got to live with. And, yes, the real world IS a pain most of the time and the highs are few- but there WILL come some among those few highs that make it all worthwhile in the final analysis. If they haven't come yet, wait, they WILL. I'm in the slough of despond most of the time myself, so I think I know what I'm talking about!
As to what you asked, I'm actually from South India and my dialect language is Malayalam, but I'm pretty fluent in Hindi too.
If thinking of you is of any help, beleive me, I'll be doing it! Hope today is better! :)
it truly baffles me that ppl could describe me as the forum sweetheart when you are all so kind and considerate. oh, but you'd be surprised. i can be foolish. a fool among fools. I don't like curses, you see. thanks a lot though sindhu. that's awful sweet.
I sometimes think that being intelligent is a curse. You see how the world really is, i.e. pain. Some moments are ok, they're the 'high'. At least stupid people are happy with everything and don't find problems in anything. Maybe they're the clever ones, and we are the stupid ones.
Back on topic, I noitced I'm not good at praising at all... but I wanted to say that fayefaye is intelligent to me in the sense that she can talk wisely or anyway in a sensitive mature way about stuff like literature etc, which I think is especially rare among very young people. (I think she's very young, though I'm not completely sure).
I also have a question, just for curiousity...is Sindhu female?
yes, i think sindhu is female. (?) intelligence is a curse, isn't it? I mean, you think more.. that can get ... I don't know. Stupid people are always happy.Quote:

fayefaye is a very busy girl here, I can't keep up! :D
huh?
Another stupid post I shouldn't have posted in the first place- technically deleted!
Uhm, `here', it's a forum, consisting of Posts, so, I meant, you post a lot, I can't keep up with all the posts you make. That was all... :(

Beleive me, You've got competition all right- I'm sototally FRUSTRATED and the only way I can stop from thinking which is the last thing I want to do at this precise moment is to keep posting. :( But as to the posts Ideleted, they were cast iron STUPID- and you're better off not knowing! ;)Quote:

u telling me i'm better off not knowing just makes me want to know more! i'm so juvenile sometimes. btw, right now MY name's on every index lol i like ickmeister's username. i think (s)he's someone with courage to voice their opinion or beliefs. (telling me the red hot chilli peppers are really bad. that take's the quintessential stuff of heroes- utter courage or utter stupidity! lol i assume it's the former)
I haven't been here for a while and I just wanted to post here before my lull in studies is over.
Fayefaye, you are very cool too. :D You have a great level-headedness about you that I admire. You're not afraid to stand your ground on anything, and you're a great addition to "the girls" of the forums.
Jay, your like my old dear friend. In fact, did you know that your the first person to ever send me a PM, back when we were newbies? Sometimes you have that way of talking funny when you seem to be stressed out, and I just want to give you a virtual cup of hot tea and just sit and talk. Your one of the more understanding people I've known and I wish I had more gumption to return more of the kindness that you've shown me. And for my laziness, I could really kick myself.
Abdo, that compliment you paid me really made me smile! :D Which was kind of embarrassing because I was in a public library  . I really like the way you always set a challenge. I said it before, but you really do remind me of my dad, who argues his point whether or not he knows he's wrong. I used to find that exasperating, but now I look at it as one of the more admirable traits that a person can have. If I'm never challenged, I'll never grow as a person. Thanks for helping every one to grow! :D
Den, I admire you for your wit! You have that sly way of making great comebacks, saying things that I could only come up with days after I should have said it. I also like the way you come up with posts to get everyone involved, like this one and the Haiku one.
Munro, if you hadn't said you were still in highschool, I never would have guessed it. You have an amazing intellegence, and I wish I could explain things more the way you do. Sometimes, when I post something, it not quite what I wanted, and you come up right behind me and say just what was in my head that I couldn't get out.
Koa, I think I've said this before, but I admire your language skills, I've pretty much lived my life in Florida, and have only been surrounded by two languages, English and Spanish, and I still can't seem to make myself bilingual! Sometimes you have this way of doubting yourself that makes me ask, why? If I was as intelligent as you I would have no problems with self confidence, but then your humbleness is to be greatly admired as well.
Sindu, I'm still learning you. You arrived at a time when my visits here became very focused, I've only been going to certain threads because I had to save time to study. But what I know of you, I've learned that you are a very agreeable person, ready to make a friend, and put in an intelligent opinion.
ickmiester, hee hee, your that guy who I feel is here to learn, but ready to make a joke of it. You make me laugh, and your presence here adds a bit of charm to the forums. Your almost like the comic relief. :D
shea gives the best compliments. lol aside from that, she also adds interesting and thoughtful posts, and is very good at giving Bible references. i really respect and admire her for how she can stand up for her beliefs.
The person above me was a very devoted poster to the forum but I have not seen her/him for a couple of months.
PAM does a marvelous job interviewing members in the interview thread. Great job! :)
Oh, and probably a lot of other cool stuff, but that's what I thought of right now. It's a compliment, really. :)
PAM is a perfectionist like myself ;) She doesnt realize the great quality of her writing. :)
I know nothing about PAM! xD
:D thats ok poetess! ill introduce myself, my name is Mira/Drama/Drame(whatever you want to call me ;)) and (answering to your confusion on the compliment thread) i am female :)
the PAM is very truthful :p
I like her name
:D Thank ye poetess!
I also like the PAM's name. She seems to posses a very unique style and sense of self.
