I love the costumes of the 70's and the showmanship. Excellent performance all the way through! Always loved this song much better than Stairway to Heaven for some reason.

I can't watch/listen to many of the videos as I'm not on proper Internet at the mo, but some good songs here and some others that I need to listen to too. Like The Rolling Stones - never listened to them properly. And The Kinks. And Jethro Tull. :blush:

I'm not sure that the Stone Roses' charming faux-trippy psychedelia really qualifies as Classic Rock, within the meaning of the Act. But enjoyable, nevertheless.

I was going to post exactly that clip of Free - not my favourite band of the era, but you could make an argument for that being the quintessential British rock song, although there's some strong local competition.

In the Netherlands, on the other hand, there was very little competition at all...

You're right about defining classic rock. I posted that clip because I reckon nothing beats a good old set of drums with bass & electric guitar (plus some long haired, bearded sweaty men!). IMO, it meets the criteria!

I'm pretty sure that you could find pervier with about ten minutes concerted effort. Although I'm prepared to put in three or four days.

Is it made more or less pervy for knowing that that's Steve Tyler's daughter climbing out of the window?

Yes I remember it is his daughter now and the other is Alicia Silverstone. I think it's very tongue-in-cheek anyway.

While in theory a tiny bit of me tends to agree, another part knows Def Leppard had some pretty decent tunes in their early years.
