I think they're mostly hit & run posters though.

Not many hang around for more than a couple of dozen posts.

I just had a look at the members' list and it's very noticeable that most posters have only two digits in their post total.

Are there many though?

The evidence of my attendance here, the members online from the front page and looking at the members' list tends to indicate the opposite - that for the size of the site, very few hang around. Even long-term young 'uns (to me) like bazarov are hardly ever here any more.

I wonder if a lot of the difficulty is still navigating through the many sites.
When I come on the site; i have to hit "new posts", then "general chat"...sometimes there's a delay. If there isn't a post everyday; it can wind up on the second page and no one goes to the second page. I also wonder how many of the younger folks don't like thinking of themselves as "juniors".
I also think alot of the kids message each other.

My cat is staring over my shoulder; I guess she wants to use the computer. I'm not sure what to get her for Christmas (she's really a boy; but we thought she was a girl...so) :lol: She doesn't seem to play for very long with anything. She doesn't like many foods:santasmil :santasmil

Hello, Well, we got the cat some catnip, which he really likes and so does all the other cats on the block. He's kind of a depressed cat; so when ever he gets in a bad mood, we bring out the catnip. We also got him a cat shaped laser light. It throws a red glow that he liked to chase until he realized he could never catch it. :(

:sick: I've got a bad cold, so I'm watching movies all day. I watched the new Harry Potter movie, I was kind of disappointed.

My all-time favourite book is Wuthering Heights, although I am not demanding anyone read it. Very difficult.

Has anyone read anything by Christopher Milne? He wrote the Naughty Stories for Good Boys and Girls series. He published then all on his own. I used to totally love those.

I read some of Andy Griffiths work. Loved it. Particularily the three stories entirely based around Jack's rear-end. ;)

The Harry Potter series had a big effect on me as well, I read the The Philosopher's Stone 164 times.

That end bit didn't really seem real enough to believe. I'm not surprised they ended up together, but I suppose they had to grow up one day.

I guess I always thought Herminone would get with Harry. I didn't understand why dumbledore had to drink that water...And I wanted Serious to live. I guess I don't like my favorite characters to disappear...Oh yes, Robert Pattinson is just too much of a hunk to let him go off and become a vampire:ladysman:

I wanted Hermione with Harry. I don't think Ron had enough to offer.

I didn't like Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory. I think it was just the character he had to play.

Yes, I wonder why no one ever puts Hermione with Harry. It's logical that as such good friends they would end up together. Actually, I guess I think most of the Weasley kids are kind of lame except the twins; they're really cool. I like the one who keeps dragons later.

Krum and Cedric, I don't think are good for anyone.
They are geniouses in their own league, however I think they are doomed to be alone.
Cedric would've turned out alright, if he'd lived, although he always seemed like on of those annoyingly popular people who don't go a long way after highschool.
Krum seemed like a sports nut. Not to be comtemplated.

You are a very practical young lady, and I am sure you are right. Do you think young ladies ever think of just dating boys for the enjoyment of being on a date; or is it always about the future?

Anyway, I thought Krum was kind of sweet with Hermione; and a big ego boost since all the other girls wanted to go out with him.

Cedric, hum, I can see him getting a good job just because he's popular; or marrying into a wealthy family.
