Oh darn, Pushkin! my favorite work - now I'm torn. And Jane Austen too! It's a shame we don't get such good nominations for the major book-club books, since this is only a one day one.
I'm definitely going with the Pushkin! So the deal is that the book needs to be read BY Febuary 14th? I'm pretty new to the forums, and especially new to the book club.
I may have to hold off on this. I'm getting overwhelmed with reading I do want to read Kim and Richard II in February as well. I'm not going to vote now, though I would enjoy reading The Lover again and I've been meaning to read Pursuasion.
so when do we get the result? for this one and the fev book club
really looking forward to it
come on beauty!!! I just read that! Love the beauty and the beast story!
If persuasion gets novel of manners and beauty valentines i'll be happy!
Have we ever had a 6 way split before?
I can't find That thing called love on amazon (??)
I haven't yet read most of them..only Persuasio and Eugene O.. :)
Perhaps i'll try browsing my mother's shelf this afternoon. :)
You mean nobody is interested in a Harlequin romance????
Going once...
Oh darn. I wanted to read Persuasion in the April read. I've got Kim for February already.
Going twice...
I might as well pick this one up, I finished Richard II and I'm not participating in the monthly.
