I think that people have a fascination of abomination, because humans have a tendacy to be drawn toward things that are horific, sad, or destructive; we like seeing the bad becuase it makes us more greatful that we are not in the same situation. This concept is very similar to the explanation of why people like watching drama, or why some people make their lives more dramatic than they need to be. To me this portrays the abomination of native life led by the imperilizing whites the power and position that the whites have obtained the fascination of Africa and its rich resources and the power they uphold over the natives, they are fascinated by their different way of life. The blacks may also be fascinated by the white machine the direction it is taking Africa not realizing the abominal destruction that lay ahead.

This person is completely fascinated in the ruins and destruction of what he is seeing. As difficult as it may be to look at a tragic scene, you can't help but to look. Drama and tragedy interests people, it's a break from the normal everyday life and when you get a chance to see it, you want to know all about it.
:bawling: will anyone be my friend??? ha ha
 "The Fascination of the Abomination..." The fascination of abomination to me means someones powerful attraction to a disgusting or vile action or being. I think that the human race as a whole is attracted to things that spark interest and emotion no matter the content . Car accidents, terrorist attacks and outrageous stunts are all abominable actions that although bad, spark an interest to look at.

I agree, people tend to want things that have dramatic conclusions. By being attracted to abomination, the result will be horrific.
In my opinion, the fascination of abomination means that we are in love with seeing destruction and disaster. It fascinates us to see people get killed in movies, and the way various things get destroyed. :flare: :flare: :flare:
I think that it shows a lack of humanity of the people at the stations.
"The facination of Abomination" means that everyone is fascinated to things that are either destructive or sad, and they are interested in what is happening. Usually when it does not involve them.
