eerem Im english and I spell it either way in fact somntimes I just leave out the second o altogether:p but the inconsistancey in the spelling does lend to the in an american school idea, I was in one and the grammer book was english, the comprehension was american and I think the handwriting books were Australian.... so generally people were left confused :D

But if you might want to check out his story, The Vigilante's Gambit, and you'll be surprised to see a lot of "u" and the replacement of "s" in the words where it's supposed to have a "z" in it. (I don't think he intended that one. But I may be wrong.) And I've also encountered "realise" and "colour" in his posts, can't remember where.Quote:

umm landi the word are supposed to have s in them its only the americans who spell things like realise with a z.

well actually I tell a lie the american spellings tend to be more phonetically correct and easier to spell so are adopted by alot of not ex-british colony countries as well as quite a few of them.
