What happens in that ending?
Well, in the theatrical release Ash goes back to his own time, his girlfriend is alive again, and he has to fight some demons, etc. In the director's cut he sleeps in a cave (don't remember if that happens in the theatrical) under the power of a magical potion, so he doesn't age. You see the watch Ash get covered in spider-webs as his beard grows (rip van winkle style), and there are flashes to the world aging to modern times. Finally Ash gets up, cleans himself off, and breaks out of the cave. He looks out on the world and sees Big Ben sinking into the earth, and lots of urban decay. (perhaps a reference to the original Planet of the Apes, but those were before my time) Ash screams, "I slept too long. I slept toooo loooong!"
The End
You're right. The theatrical release is better. Lucky I saw that one instead of the other.
Most of teen movies are sucks. It will make a long list if I have to write all of them here..
I kinda enjoyed "Not Another Teen Movie". It was trashing all of these damn teeniebopper movies. But it was kind of a teeniebopper movie in itself, but for the angry bitter limp bizkit listening teeniebopper rather than the Justin Timberlake variety.
Well at least Justin can dance... And "Not Another Teen Movie" is indeed another stupid teen movie.
I didn't like Not Another Teen Movie either, it was pretty crude. Oh, a reeeeaally bad movie? Serendipity. Don't watch it unless you want severe brain damage.
Comedies like Stuck on You are really rubbish. Anything with can't-remember-his-name in is rubbish.
The Girl With The Pearl Earring. It wasn't about anything. It didn't have a plot. You might as well have stared at the picture for 2 hours.
I liked girl with a pearl Earing.
I hated Phenomenon
A tough one... Considering I fell asleep while watching Saw 4 in the cinema, I guess that would be the one.
How can you have a "Worst Movie Ever" thread wihtout mentioning Plan 9 From Outer Space, which was actually given the title, "Worst Movie Ever?"
Honestly though, The Happening is probably the worst movie I've ever seen. That is the only time I can remember walking out of a theater during the movie.
The most recent film that I just couldn't sit through was Across the Universe. I mean, usually I will sit all the way through a movie no matter how bad it is, but I just couldn't take that one. So many people like it though. Matter of taste. But it really is NOTHING compared to the countless sci-fi/horror b-movie films I've seen. But, you see, I actually enjoy those. So bad they're good. I wanna see Acne and The Astro-Zombies.
YES. YES. YES. Fwiggen YES. Golden Turkey Awards!
"You're all stupid humans, stupid, stupid!!!"
"That's enough outta you!" *slap*
Ed Wood. Is. Amazing. I like Bride of the Monster, too.
We already have another thread on this topic, no?
