from the first moment I read your signature I was smitten with love of the words and the way they made me feel.
post more Tal. We love your thoughts.
Mine is from Salman Rushdie. I'm not 100% sure of the context but I believe it was from a press conference or statement that he made in response to the reaction to "The Satanic Verses". My avatar shows the alternative to Rushdie's sentiments - nazis burning books - by way of contrast.
Xamonas--I've been wondering for awhile exactly what was going on in your avatar, but I thought it looked fairly ominous for some reason. Now I know why.
My signature is from the first poem in Petrarch's rime sparse. I recently posted the full poem on the introductions thread if you're curious. I chose it as a compliment to my screen name.
Mine is from "The Empire Strikes Back".
Oh my that's why it sounded SO familiar... Well I knew it was Petrarca but I never linked it to the first one... Now I recall everything, I loved that poem, and the school times when I felt I was a poet (that feeling has been olst over the years) and I had dreams and ideals.. Wow it's been ages :eek:Quote:

We especially love it when your thoughts are concerned with The A-Team. :nod:Quote:
