Never for the purpose of getting intoxicated, but sure; it certainly depends, however, upon the age (never a child at age 5, or something ridiculous like that), psychological maturity, and knowing the consequences of chronic consumption of alcohol. I have regularly drank coffee since about age 14, introduced to me from my father, and see it no differently; not ironically, he also gave me my first alcoholic drink - yes, I consider myself a caffeine-junkie, but certainly not an alcoholic. Only interpersonal beliefs outside a household make these beverages so forbidden; the liver has matured fully before age 21 (or 18), and one beer or wine would harm a teenager no more than an acetaminophen tablet.

If you worked as a waiter/waitress/bartender, would you refuse service to a customer who had clearly "had too much," even if you knew s/he tipped well?

I would not have the guts to pull the trigger, nor would I advocate for the political leader's death, but I would do everything in my power to have him/her captured and brought to justice, even in the case of another holocaust, much like what troops intended with Hitler, before he committed suicide to avoid capture. Then again, this comes from someone who does not believe in capital punishment; I know of a political figure who, some say, deserves capital punishment, but, in my opinion, he ought to at least go through something resembling the Nuremberg trials for war crimes.

Would you ever purchase a product, clothing in most cases, that you knew came from a sweat shop? Would you ever do research on a company prior to purchasing its products? :brow:

You know, I probably have without knowing. I have no idea where my clothes are made. I guess that makes me ignorant.

As a teenager, I have no doubt I have without knowing, but nowadays I do my research, and only purchase products not tested on animals, even if it costs more.
