Do you know how much we (as in you and me) have discussed Joseph Fiennes in this thread alone! :D

Janine: Zooey Deschanel. You know her from the band «She & Him», and a fair amount of movies -- as a supporting character for the most.
She is in Bridge to Terabithia, Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy and the movie (i'm boycotting because they completely changed what is actually a true story) yes man.
She is very pretty.
She can sing pretty well too, at least *I* think so. I was actually planning to take a quick trip to Los Angeles to snap her up, marry her and so forth once I became a famous writer, but it seems she is engaged with this awful indie-rock musician now. Isn't life unfair?
she was in Tin man too, that was great, and here sister is in bones which I am completly addicted to  :D

Mono, you have taste and discernment.:thumbs_up
Thank you. I think I would do just about anything to bring back Audrey Hepburn, but only on the condition that she exchanged that famous dress she wore on Breakfast at Tiffany's for this one:

Just kidding, she could wear that black dress on our honeymoon!

Looks like I'll have to settle for Tippi Then;)
I approve! Tippi was lovely, as were most of Hitchcock's leading ladies.
Although I'm female and straight as an arrow, I think these are probably the two most beautiful women I have ever seen:

Navi Rawat
http://www.ingridbergman.info/images...%20Bergman.jpg
Ingrid Bergman
What I'd give to look like either of them...
I agree *C*C*. I especially love/admire Ingrid Bergman. I am 'straight as an arrow' too; however, I think when a woman can admire the beauty of another woman that shows a great sense of self confidence/security within themselves. I just might post a few woman I highly admire and think beautiful, too. I thought Grace Kelly had amazing looks - such beauty and class she had. You are totally right on that one - Hitchcock picked some gorgeous leading ladies.
Keira has a beautiful face
On the subject of actresses from a earlier time - Edie Doyle from "On the Waterfront"
unfortunately I cant find a pic to do her justice
Hey Kilted, do you mean Eva Marie Saint? She was the actress who played Edie, I believe. I think if you look around online, you could find plenty of photos of her as she looked back then; of course, now she is much older. She still acts, I think. She was always a great actress.
edit: Kilted Good News! I just found you some. Will post now:

Just gorgeous.
Wessexgirl,Checked him out and he is cute. I just read that he is 38 and has 5 kids. He mentions the 5 kids on the Today Show segment. I loved "Camelot"; I own the old version with Richard Harris playing King A...love it so much; I saw him onstage playing the role with Vanesa Redgrave - wonderful! I forgot now who played Lance back then, but he was awfully cute.
Good find on your part. I had never heard of this guy before so I put some of the vids into my playlist.
He is a cutie Wessex!
Oh LW!!!! Have you seen the latest Gucci fragrence for men ad? Its got James Franco in it!

and I don't really have favorites on the last one, and between you and me I totes like their second album more than their first.
What about you? favorites and such.
Oh I totally agree, Antics is probably the better album of the three.
:)
Favourites, hmmm....
Take You On a Cruise
(Probably my favourite one.)
Slow Hands
Public Pervert
Stella was a Diver and She was Always Down
Mammoth
Also, doesn't Paul Bank's voice remind you a little of Ian Curtis? (Joy Division.)
I think a lot of Interpol reminds me of Joy Division
I think it's safe to say that Interpol should prolly pay JoyDIv some royalties..
hehe not really but yeah I'm sure that with out JoyDiv there wouldn't be any Interpol, Editors, or Stellastarr*.
I, personally, like them all!
:yawnb:
Less Interpol discussion, more pics! :D
After just watching The DaVinci Code, I realized how drawn to Audrey Tautou (Sophie Neveu) I was. Some pics:

mono, she's fabulous, I don't blame you. ;)
Brian is just as real as any other celebrity. I fall asleep thinking of my cartoon dog. :p it's the sarcastic witticisms, along with the wisdom, the jazz, the incomplete novel, the soulful island that is Brian, he gets to me. Sigh. :D
I love that dog, but if we are allowed cartoons, can I have Garfield too please? He's surely a precursor of Brian, in the sense that the-animal-is- smarter-than-the-human kind of way. He's so laid-back and laconic, with a piercing cynicism if I remember correctly. I think he's lazier than Brian though, it's been some time since I've seen him.
I thought these barbs from him, as shown on Wiki were very funny.
Family
Over the course of the strip, Gafield has shared information on members of his family:
Uncle Arno Known for saying, "Life is like a festival; you have to get out there and enjoy it." He was run over by a parade.[15]
Uncle Barney Once went to the vet and came back as Garfield's Aunt Bernice.[16]
Uncle Berle Described as crazy and thought he was a dog. He always chased himself up trees and was constantly exhausted as a result.[17]
Uncle Bernie Coined the phrases, "Never listen for a train by putting your ear on a train track," and "Curiosity killed the cat," in that order.[18]
Uncle Bob Used to say, "Slow down, take it easy," before being hit by a bus.[19]
Uncle Ed Described as crazy, he liked to sniff waffle irons, and his face was used for tic-tac-toe games.[20] He also always said, "Never belch out loud," and blew out an eyeball one day.[21] However, this may be a different Uncle Ed.
Aunt Edna Used to say, "Let a smile be your umbrella," until her dentures were blown clean through the garage door by a bolt of lightning.[22] She also married a hyena.[23]
Aunt Evelyn Plucked all her hair from her body to stop shedding. She currently resides in L.A., with a family that thinks she is a chihuahua.[24]
Uncle Harry He lived in a gas plant in Gas City, Indiana. He was a famous mouser, eventually chasing a mouse into Tank #2. He is now a paperweight in Bayonne, New Jersey.[25]
Uncle Hubert Once caught a 30-pound canary in Chicago, and was last spotted over Dallas, Texas. For this reason, Garfield does not chase birds.[26]
Uncle Leo Always had a smile until an incident with denture weevils.[27]
Uncle Morty Was killed by his gluttony, after trying to take a papaya from a silverback gorilla.[28]
Uncle Nick Loved to destroy things and used to eat chickens whole. There are two conflicting statements to his current status, however. In one strip, it is said that he tried to swallow an ostrich after he mistook it for a chicken, with his last words being, "That's the biggest chicken I ever saw."[29] In another, it is stated that he is presently a postal employee in Chicago.[30]
Uncle Patrick Famous for the quote, "I regret that I have but nine lives to give to my country."[31]
Great Uncle Ralph The only mention of Great Uncle Ralph claims he was a warthog.[32]
Aunt Reba Garfield reacts with her name when Jon revealed that his tennis racket was strung with catgut.[33]
Uncle Roy Said to be weird, he underwent a species change operation that transformed him into a dog; He later chased himself to death.[34]
There are also two unnamed uncles and one great uncle. One uncle went to the vet once and had his brain replaced with that of a chicken. The rest of his life was spent sitting on eggs in grocery stores.[35] Another uncle used to play with yarn, and is now a pattern in an angora sweater.[36] The great uncle was a lion who ate a sick monkey.[37]
Cousin Sly - A mouser. Appeared in Garfield on the Town.
Raoul - Garfield's half-brother, a mouser.
He looks a bit like my daughter's cat, and an old friendly cat of my neighbours, called Dave!
