Hi All
I'm Glad I've Found This Forum
:)
 Welcome everyone, hope you all really enjoy your stay here, it really is a wonderful forum with many very interesting and fantastic people! :D
Greetings to you all!:) My English literature teacher gave us the adress to this site and after a while I've decided to join the forum as well.
Well, what can I say about myself? I am a student-in my first year, actually-and I am studying English and Spanish language and literature. I have always loved reading quite a lot and some of my favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien- his books are actually one of my biggest passions and I read The Lord of the Rings twice a year- J.K Rowling, Rosemary Sutcliff-although I could not find too many of her books:( -Ray Bradbury and Arthur Conan Doyle. I also spend most of my time writing both poems and short stories as well. I am very glad I have found this site and I am sure I will enjoy myself here.
Once again, greetings!:)
Hello everyone!
I am a philosophy student planning to become a published author of mostly fiction. The genre that I prefer to write in is Experimental. My hobbies include: Reading, Writing, Listening to Music, Watching Movies: Foreign, Indie mostly; going to concerts, going to dances, traveling, reading on the beach, relaxing at home, hanging out with friends, having deep conversations, learning new things about people that I have just met etc.
Good day everyone.. i wanted to stop in and introduce myself before i ask my questions. would be rude for me not to do so. My name is jamie and i am a mother of 3 wonderful kids. i currently enrolled into tech. Im not so sure as to why but i did and the classes are way harder then expected and needed help from you fine people to get through it.... :crash:
hello there! i am a new member. well, i became a member two days ago but had not thought of saying hi... I hope this won't sound very rude... Well, here i am now. I must say i LOVE this site. I am an english literature student, its my first year at the university. Well, once again hi, even if i was a bit late...
Just signed up today, figured I'd introduce myself. I'm Brad... I'm 17 and in my first year of college. I'm studying what basically equates to English Lit, and I love reading. My favorite authors actually aren't really of the "classic" variety, but nevertheless, are Nick Horny, Kurt Vonnegut, and Anthony Burgess. And George Orwell, but I've only read 1984 and Animal Farm.
My other main interests are in film and music. My favorite film is The Royal Tenenbaums, among many others, and my favorite band is Porcupine Tree, among, again, many others.
Hope to have a fun time here and get to know some intelligent people.

hi hello
I teach AP English in NW Washington, D.C. with British and Russian Literature being my "grand passion". I love the Victorian Social Problem Novel (e.g., Alton Locke by Charles Kingsley) and tackling foreign languages. Into Russian now and can't wait to read Tolstoy, Chekov, et.al. in the original tongue.:p
I'll be travelling to teach English in Novosibirsk, Siberia this summer.
Love Oxford, my husband, and my daughter.
Dislike grading 50 papers on the same topic and deadlines.
Like students and teaching.
Dislike two-party political systems where the candidates are mirror images of each others in terms of their MOTIVES.
Dislike students addicted to electronics.:crash:
Hi everyone!! Lots of welcomes here to litnet, I'm sure you'll all have a great time and fit in brilliantly!
