Vernacular: In locally understandable lingo, not necessarily understood by those in other regions. For example, British people know why "Bob's your uncle." and here is SW Virginia we know what "cutting your foot" means.

Village Idiot: The person who's 'special' either due to disability or choice. Every village has one. Just a step away from being the Village Genius or Holy Fool.

Wicked: An adjective that covers a wide spectrum of moral quality going from the undesirably bad to the can’t-get-enough-of-it good and often related to how wicked you think you are.
