Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute... How did we get from Henri Cartier-Bresson to Enya? Please tell me we're still living in a universe where that don't make sense or I'll have to stand in a wastepaper basket and sing.
Minor White...Just looked him up and couldn't give a rat's fanny, so nay.
Obscure Fijian holidays.
-
Nay... (lol) is that payback ? Actually I love Enya's music and read a lengthy article about her yesterday... so yeah; she has a new album just out too.
Zoos ?
-
Aye, I haven't been to one in ages. Would be nice to see one again.
Graphic novels?
-
This is an interesting question. I have read a few graphic novels that I really liked, but usually find them difficult to read because I can't follow the logic of storyboarding, if that's the right term. I never know the order I'm supposed to read them in, or the dialogue, and so gave up trying a long time ago. The same applies to manga, which I really wanted to be able to get into a long time ago, and still might, 'cause I've been way into anime at different times. So I'm giving it an Aye because I love the idea of it, and the art and imagination involved.
Ancient terra cotta toilets uncovered at a dig site in Hoboken, NJ, when all they were trying to do was lay the foundations of a new Remnants R Us.
-
hmm, im not sure how one can say anything other than aye to an unearthed discovery, no matter how seemingly mundane, so, aye. smiles...
I asked this one in another thread I think:
cross-over stories?
-
It depends. If you mean Batman vs. Superman, I say Nay and a painful death to every Hollywood exec responsible for such abominations. On the other hand, in the world of fanfics I've seen some interesting stuff. I've nothing against it in principle, it just has to be done well and for the right reasons. And how dare you refer to my terra cotta toilets as mundane. For all you know, they were used as altars by a highly evolved ancient civilization.
Chocolate covered strawberries?
-
Chocolate covered strawberries? Big Aye.
OTC cold remedies ? Thag you very much.
-
Nay, I Don't really take anything for a cold, I just ride it out.
Sleeping pills
-
Sleeping pills, as in Ambien, is a no brainer for this chronic insomniac: AYE!
Decaffeinated tea/coffee?
-
-
I'd sooner drink battery acid. The taste is about the same, anyway.
Battery acid, as a beverage or weapon, your choice.
-
nay, except maybe defensive use only...otherwise its making me think of the horrid god-awful acid attacks on women around the world.
I love herbal tea---tyrion, try it sweetened and thickened with about a 1/4 cup of apple juice. I would steer you towards some of the more strongly and recognizably flavors too, like peach, or raspberry, lemon, apple-cinnamon are safer bets than chamomile or sleepy time. (had some French vanilla once that was fantastic)
grapefruit without sugar?
-
Preferably.
Tea without sugar?
-
I drink tea without sugar all day and most of the night, and wouldn't know what to do without it, so Aye. However, in the past, I have also enjoyed tea "the English way," with milk and sugar or lemon or honey.
Chicken wings, which I just had at the diner, your choice of mild, medium or spicy.
-
(no sugar in my tea either, or milk or lemon or honey, although a bit of honey or sugar is tolerable)
Aye, and medium.
