Black and white or colour?
With photography? Usually black-and-white, as it adds such an aesthetic quality.

deciduous or coniferious?
Both types of plants have their respective forms of natural beauty and sublimity, but I would have to go with deciduous. As cliché as it sounds, I apologize, the changing and cycling of colors and shedding of leaves, only to grow more, and repeat the process, reminds me much of life, in essence - always in a state of flux, but usually beginning and ending in the same place. :)
Concrete or abstract?

* Ok, this Q reminds me of a funny story. I was in a bar a couple of weeks ago (What a Scotsman in a bar? surely not ;) ) and there was this guy in a suit talking on his mobile phone about stocks/shares etc, whilst he was talking the phone began to ring. Obviously he was trying to impress everyone in the bar with how important he was, I couldn't stop myself from laughing. *

German or French?
Language or place? I lived and worked in Germany for a year, and found that the stereotypes were not wholly accurate - I met some very decent people (although the sense of humour thing does have a ring of truth in some cases! Or maybe I just didn't get it.). I enjoyed my time there. Only been to France for two weeks holiday - I did love it; especially the good quality food. We were on a budget, so didn't eat out that much, but the ingredients at the markets was fantastic. Thinking about it the German people seemed friendlier than the French, but then I was a tourist in a touristy place in France, whilst in Germany I was a bit of a novelty.
Anyway, I digress! French then.
And forget to ask question! :DQuote:
