I stuck the screen name on because I figured that at least if there was some mix up and people were asking around, AD would recognize the name as something connected with her. I think perhaps especially being one of our younger members AD may prefer to keep her surname to herself anyway? I actually can't remember how Virg. addressed my Larry package. I think I gave him my impossibly spelled surname, but maybe my postwoman is still puzzling over who this "Petrarch's Love" person is? In any case, they usually just deliver everything addressed to my apartment number to my box regardless of name. It seems to me that in the U.S. the name in most cases is important only occasionally if there's some error, like a friend of mine left off the apartment number on the address or something. Maybe others, like my friends who live in the commune house have more trouble with that sort of thing though.
