PBM: do you think old people should be banned from driving?
No, since the 18-25 age group causes most accidents, if anyone should be banned, it should be that age group! ;)
What is the last book you have read and what did you think of it?
small gods - Terry Pratchett as always was very funny and good(i reckon they cause most accidents cause theyre trying to drive past the old man in front driving at 10 MPH)
whats the most embarassing thing to have happened to you?
Sheesh, so many things.....just to pick one.....
OK, when I was a teenager I was at the beach and there was a bunch of us in the water, was trying to hop onto an innertube. I hopped and half of my top did not.
What's the last board game you've played?
Chess but it wasnt on a board it was on a mat thing needless to say I lost as usal.
PBM Whats your fav. board game?
Definitely chess (a lot of good players here in Portland), but I also play go often.
To the person below me: this pertains to another question I asked in another thread, but while feeling ill, do you usually use Eastern (herbs, acupuncture, chiropractic care, reiki, yoga, tai chi) or Western (antibiotics, prescriptions, surgery) medicines and practice?
Herbs are Eastern? Funny thing, we have always thought of herbs as, well, universal.
We usually use some pills (usually painkillers) and herb teas. Though when we are more badly sick, we use antibiotics and stuff like that too or what the doctor tells us to.
Same question
if i have a sore throat then i use herb tea but if i am really sick i use pills like painkillers, allergy medicine etc
PBM: what is the most annoying thing that has happened to you lately?
Getting lost on a trail in cross country practice.
PBM: Do you play Runescape?
No. I don't play much PC games. And I don't know what that is.
What is the reason of you not accepting Jesus as your Saviour if you haven't? (if you have, why did you?)
:p :p :p Well I think the first reason is that I was brought up atheist (environment has a huge impact on people); second, I could just as well accept any other in the world and I'd do it more readily too (especially Eastern religions that border on philosophy/Eastern philosophy or mysticism); third, why put inherent faith in one book?...fourth, there's truckloads of evidence the world wasn't created in six days, the world isn't flat, insects don't have four legs in general ( ), pi does NOT equal three as the Bible pretends, other contradictions like the Bible ordering us to kill such-and-such (I picked a random page in the Holy Book in a bookshop and I landed on exactly that); plus fossil records and radiometric dating etc...why would God choose our particular planet to bless with life? there are plenty of others in the universe, I seriously doubt any infinite being would lavish so much on such a small world (it's a DOT); and plenty more logical reasons (I mean, for God's sake, how could an all-loving god send ANYONE to a hell such as is depicted in the Bible? If any of us were born into a pirate family, there would be a humungous chance we'd grow up to be pirates ourselves...it's not like morally bad people are really "bad", they're usually very miserable sort of people and they can't help it, they've just grown up to be like that)...I think that should be enough. It *is* the Games subforum, after all, not Religious Texts. :D
PBM: Same question. ;)
Well I do believe in Jesus but in a different way as I'm not a christian. Jesus for me is but a human being who had a mission on earth like many others. This is my point of view as it's of my religion. I do love christ but differently.
To the person below me: what is the most dreadful thing that frightens you?
Fear itself, imagination (for better or worse), and water.
To the person below me: if you could edit or invent any word in English (guaranteed to have it in every dictionary and thesaurus), what word would you choose/invent, and what would it mean?
Good question man. I like it although it's difficulte to be answered. Words are used for comunication and expressing our thoughts. I like them as they are and use them the way they are. So I won't eddit any. But I always wonder how to describe an emotion that is a mixture of love and hatred; when the person is no more in controle of his/her emotions, and is divided by two feelings and don't know the reality of his/her being.
Sory man I'v found it too difficult to answer your question. Better leave it as it is than invent a stupide word. I'm not due for that. But I like your question.
Same Q.
I'd like to edit the word Gullible. :D Meaning would be a picture of that person's face stuck in the Dictionary in place of the word Gullible.
Sorry...couldn't come up with any better. ;)
