Thin: Traditionally, a thin is conceived as any action that transgresses the will of God, or which perverts Nature. Mind you, most of those who preach against thinning are the biggest thinners of all, and some people who are notorious thinners are also the most charismatic of persons, secretly loved and envied by the pious and virtuous. Oscar Wilde captured this with the following quip via the mouth of Dorian Gray: "You will always be fond of me. I represent to you all the thins you never had the courage to commit."
