Well, for father's day I buy my mom a gift but if the child is to young I'm not sure I'd do anything.

And Stargazer, I was abandoned very young, and I appreciated it if someone I loved just told me how much they cared about me, because you cannot speak for the person who did the abandoning, and that makes things worse. Children need to know NOW that they are priceless treasures, so say it, a million times.

Yes. If you get a pet, you fully take on all responsibility to care for it the best you can. Why sacrifice a living creature you love for an inanimate object you "love"?


Honestly, I don't know. I would try and prolong the life, but if the life was of very poor quality and the animal was suffering, I would opt for euthenizing it.

Yes I would rack up the vet bill. No, I wouldn't take a pet I couldn't afford.

No...I don't want to take from my family for a pet...no need to add responsibility that I don't need
