Nay. If it cannot keep my attention, it's gone. I review books for several places (hey, the books are free, anyway!) and at times I have had to tell them I couldn't finish the book.

Giving a negative review on amazon?
Aye. I've come to rely on those reviews pretty heavily in deciding whether to buy something or not. Opening lines like "I wouldn't give this piece o' **** to Heinrich Himmler on the occasion of his descent to the Ninth Ring," more than a few times negative ratings have saved me from purchasing a real turd of a product.
Certain Disney pop hits. And be honest, 'cause I've got thermal night vision goggles and can see you dancing behind those drawn curtains.
well, I had to look up some songs that qualify under those conditions and found this:

I say aye, but not my favorite genre. I like most music with just a few exceptions.
the popularity of young adult literature turning into movies---harry potter, twilight, hunger games, divergent, etc.?
Aye.
All but twilight on my radar.
Going to see "The Martian" ? (contemporary). I listened to the Audible offering and am chomping at the bit to see the cinema version.
heck tailor, I had forgotten what I had written here and notice that I just put a variant of my question above on "this or that."
im reading the last twilight book right now.
if I had someone to go with to see "the martian", id say "aye" but, alas...
new authors keeping story lines alive after the original authors have died?
Aye, provided they do NOT try to revamp the character for new readers. If the new readers have to have the character redone to understand, write them a new character.
Movie Remakes?
Aye.............. I've enjoyed many. What with CGI and other tech advances many movies really "pop" where the effects were more flop in past incarnations. (Saw "The Martian" today; give it an 8 out of 10... only paid $5 USD to see. Not too much left on the cutting room floor from the Audible offering)
Sneaking snacks into the theater ? (not that I did).
Aye. I was sneaking RC Cola into my local movie thee-YAY-ter when I was thirteen and my friends and I dun snuck in to see Sasquatch and Capricorn One.
The willingness to use an aluminum baseball bat to crack open the skull of a home invader?
Aye. Though I abjure violence (I prefer chrysanthemums).
But just enough of a crack to get the intruder skittlin'. To protect the family a crack on the noggin 'tis better than a bullet to the bu-tocks 'praps.
Quiet nights without the telly ?
Heavens, yes. Aye. Playing forum games, perchance. Or listening to an audiobook while beating back the unredeemed hordes of aliens invading one's encampment in Starcraft. Or, if one is entirely lucky, getting Biblical with some undoubted member of one's preferred sex.
Ostrich jerky. Yes, it's real, and I've et it.
i think id be more inclined for a baseball bat to the knees, ribs or whatever hand might be holding a weapon, but i wouldn't be totally averse to the head if needed.
im a vegetarian, but when i was younger, i liked jerky, so i would have tried it, and probably liked it.
warm soda pop?
Yo. Recently a generic ginger ale. The other is chillin' to perfection as I type.
Nikes ?
F-word Nay. Cheesy commercial drek. One should instead aspire to Reebok, Adidas or the strangely affordable yet stylish Asics.
Printed T-shirts, though you have three drawers full of them already, for the sake of supporting a worthy cause.
tailor i'll be staying awake wondering if your "yo" is a "no", "aye" or "nay"? I cant tell from the context of the sentence afterwards either! laughs...
hmmm---I can say aye to the t-shirts. ive got a bunch from somewhere (worthy) I volunteered and I like to think the advertising is good for them.
lana del ray music?
Nay. If I want that sort of pretension and affectation I'll go back in time to some of the writing classes I took in college.
Karl Pilkington.
