Hi, I'm new here. Good to have found such forum and looking forward to learning a lot. Thanks.
Welcome to the site. :)
Hello everyone ...im new to this...lol. Your questions caught my attention on the dark side of humanity.
Welcome. Which questions were those?
Good Afternoon fellow members! I am (Obviously) new here :). The name is Rebecca, I am a 46-year-old mother of 4 grown kids. I have mostly been a stay-at-home mom (hardest yet most rewarding 'job' I've ever had!). My older three kiddos are between the ages of 21 and 26 and all in college fulltime, minus my eldest son whom is married now! My last born (whom is 20 yrs old) is a Marine (on his way to being shipped out over seas... YES I am terrified.. but I AM PROUD! :)...)
I have spent most of my life (when not parenting) creating art, experimenting with photography and writing poetry as well as short stories. Right now I'm working on a Sim 4 based chapter story accumpanied by art I've created through Sims snapshots :). I haven't looked around this forum much yet so I'm not aware wether we can add photo's to our stories or not... if not I'll prob. stick to posting poetry :). I really look forward to meeting new people and reading new material!
... let the adventure begin :)
Welcome Rebecca! You're a kid compared to some of us, so you may as well consider this play time. People post photos and stories all the time, so share whatever you like. It's nice to have you with us. :)
Woo-hoo another poet !... and from California !!! (waving to you from Garden Valley)
Looking forward to your contributions.

Hi,
I'm Nihal, from India. I enjoy reading thrillers and old-classics. Currently, I'm reading Shakespeare's Hamlet; I enjoy works by the bard a lot! I hope to stick around and engage in fun discussions and learn a lot from this community.
Thanks for reading! :)
Hi everyone! Just found this place and can't believe it's taken me this long! My name is Pat and I'm a 19 year old college student from Ann Arbor, Michigan. I mostly enjoy reading fantasy/sci-fi stuff, but I'm also a huge fan of the specific way some writers (see: Steinbeck) portray realistic fiction settings. Right now I'm reading Cannery Row which is terrific and I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for something somewhat short to read. I also own two cats and am a big fan of cats in general. This seems like a great community and I can't wait to become a part of it.
Hello,

My name is Oscar and I was born and raised in Ireland. My parents are German but they always spoke English at home. My main focus is English poetry which I study in Dublin. I also have an interest in German poetry however. In the English language I find myself returning to Spenser, Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Yeats, Kavanagh and Heaney. In French to English translation novelists such as Celine rather. Homer and Virgil are obvious influences and I would like to learn more about pre-Socratic philosophy as well as Plato and Aristotle. For this reason I am a member of my university's Classics Society. Erasmus is a possibility at my university and if by that time my German language proficiency is of a high standard then perhaps I could learn Middle High German in Germany. Aside from that there is a masters at my university where you learn to translate literature and I particularly find medieval translation interesting. I am eighteen years old.
Welcome to the site, Oscar. I wish I knew more about the pre-Socratics, too. They seem so remote, yet they influenced Nietzsche, who was so important to modern thought. Good luck with your studies and again welcome. :)
Hi. I haven't posted in a couple of years, but I'm hoping for a sort of resurgence. This is such a great site and I met such lovely people here.
Hi everyone, I'm Brad! New here! 😊
Does anyone know how to post a story without the 'tabs' or indents being taken out when pasted?
Hello Everyone!
I'm a new member, just joined today so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Harrison Wild, I'm 27 and from Knutsford (near Manchester) in England! I've finally plucked up the courage to start posting my work after being told, by the few who've read it, that they really enjoyed it! Happy to find a little community and I can't wait to read all your works!

New here. Hello. I've written several self-published books, LOVE writing, and hope to contribute here. I also like commas, too much some would say.
Greetings fellow writer enthusiasts...I'm a screenwriter and producer and I'm here on the hunt for great stories as well as advice. I recently built a short story website and am wanting to showcase great stories. I've populated the site with my own stuff and the stories of a few friends. But I'm hoping to gather some more support here. My site is not just for short stories though, but also for screenwriters looking for awesome story ideas. Short stories can very efficiently encapsulate a great idea that can either be converted directly into a short film or expanded into a full feature. And that is the ultimate purpose of my site. What do you guys think of this idea? If you like it, please check out my site and feel free to submit a story. https://www.story2script.com/
Thanks in advance for any comments.

I found this website when i searched for a one word definition for love. Very interesting.
I think it would be interesting to start a dialog by thinking outside the box in the use of words overall, starting with the word love outside the context of "religion". Any takers?
Hello everyone.
It's a late cold night here and it's my first time here so thought I'd say hi before doing anything else.
I'm from Iran and 25 (getting old). I'm a bit of an OCD case so I always get stuck with what to say and introductions give me a pint anxiety :D
I once studied engineering but found my calling in literature. I studied English literature in college and got a B.A. I'm making the effort to continue with this major.
In fact I have done a little bit of everything from nursing to weaving and translation.
I'm in love with arts and creating things. Trying to pursue many arts simultaneously such as painting and crafts.
I also have a passion for writing, especially poetry.
I'm looking forward to learn a lot in here and meet as many cool people.
Hello Everyone, My name is Harshil Vora. I am 21 years old. I am currently pursuing in my second year of MBA from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. I am from Mumbai

Heeey everybody! I'm new here and I look forward to becoming part of the community.
I'm a ed student, so there's not a helluva lot of time to dedicate to them, but writing and reading are two of my hobbies... sooooo nice to meet you all :D
Hello! Several years ago I posted some short stories to 'Short Story Sharing'. I'd like to start writing again. I miss the joy of having an idea germinate into a concept which then flowers into a story that takes root in the reader's imagination.
On a long auto trip brother in law and I started talking about Milton’s Paradise Lost . It’s been many years but I
read that great work in college . I re-enlisted in Literature forum.
Hello...
My name is Afford. I am run a windscreen repair shop in Auckland. I repair and replace windscreen at a very affordable price.
I like to do photography.
Hi
I'm new.
That's pretty much all that's interesting about me.
Ok, I'm a British Catholic and write for several websites, Wattpad etc
Writing however is my hobby and not my profession. Reading delights me as much as running and gardening.
Howdy all y'all !
