Many,many times. I overcame the feeling when I realized that we only control certain aspects of our lives and this control is initiated by the choices we make. Volition is the drive of our circumstance. Besides, life is chaos, and chaos is applied throughout the universe, so why should our particular circumstance be any different?
Have you ever given any merit to the idea that you may have influenced another person just by the power of your thoughts?

Do you believe in karma? Why? Examples?
Yes, I believe in Karma, often the instant kind. Why? John Lennon told me so in a song. And it appeals to my spiritual side. Examples? Sure, nothing specific, but all our actions have consequences and these are what I term, 'Karma. Hang out with the wrong type of people, do bad things, bad things happen to you (or so we can designate this cause and effect correlation if we need reasons as to why poop happens). Whatever circle you move in dictates the type of consequences you experience from your actions.....vague enough answer? Well, Karma is pretty vague too.........
I feel that Fool deserves an answer as well: Some believe that if we imagine it, it exists on SOME plane......so if a person were to answer your question,Fool, they would in some respects be creating the very thing they claim does not exist.......hrumph! *confuses self....grins back at Sher*
If by killing one person (you would have to commit the act with your own hands) you could bring temporary (let us say several years) of peace to all of humanity, would you do it, and how would you determine your choice of ......victim....or savior, I suppose?
no. I don't love humanity enough.
However, if i could send us spiraling into an age of darkness... i very well might.

Maybe someone who was terminally ill.
Situation: your arm was hacked off by something. You are patched up and alive - not going to bleed to death.
There is no food. You either eat your own flesh or die.
What do you do?
Yuck! Why ask these sort of questions??? Gross! I'd rather die... you'd die eating your own flesh anyway... might as well die whole in body! ;)
You are in a desert, starving and dehydrated. Your only source of food and water is from a chilli plant growing nearby...which is the hottest plant in the world. you've scoured around looking for roots and other edible plants, but find none, and you are getting desperate. Would you eat the hottest chilli in the world or die? Remember there's no water to quench the fire! :D
I'd probably eat the chili plant.

brr... tomatoes stuffed with other soggy vegetables, swimming in soggy vegetable juice.... ugh....
that was after tomato soup for starters... i really thought i wouldn't make it...
but by other peoples standards.. perhaps the rat i had once (which i thought was pretty good actually)
How do you react, when you just know the whole world is trying to give you the finger? ('scuse me, bad day)
I have a whole variety of reactions, depending on my mood. Often, I will "grin and bear it," so to speak, and make things look like nothing bothers me, but that does not sound so healthy. Otherwise, if I feel the harm seems intentional, I will confront someone; if not intentional, I usually go to my bedroom, turn on some music, and do some writing.

To the person below me: when did you last feel seriously ill?
About a month ago. It was terrible! I was so weak I couldn't walk, I had turned all pale, experienced terrible dizzyness and couldn't eat. I threw up almost everything I ate. It was MOST uncomfortable. I have yet to find a name for it. I guess it's a mixture of Fever (although I didn't have a temperature) and the GastroBug.
What was the worst nightmare you have ever dreamed of?
I have had many dreams of drowning, which, combined with my fear of water, created quite a scare. I once also had a dream of feeling awake and lucid, but paralyzed; somehow, I could only move my left hand, but the rest of me felt heavy and panicked - then I finally woke, and only thought it a very strange dream.

Hmmm, good question, probably the ideal, utopia thought in concepts of Heaven and Paradise; but, I think, the closest to perfection we can come to - imagination. Not as proof, but for something to consider, as John Milton wrote in Paradise Lost:
