The Timeless Way of Building - Christopher W. Alexander
Timeless: a collection of poetry & prose (The Road I Tread) - Steven Singleton
... appears to be a contemporary:Quote:
Timeless is a freshman collection of twenty-five years of poetry. Covering a range of subjects, from light hearted early mornings and magical trips to deeper and questioning moments of doubt, it follows the authors downfalls and triumphs as he navigated the past quarter century. Dive in, and enjoy the moments that helped shape the author into the man he is and the Hopes he looks to leave behind.

The broken jug. Heinrich von Kleist (comedy)
After reading a synopsis of the book I realize I don't fully understand what a comedy is.
The Broken Wings / Tears and Laughter / Sand and Foam - Kahlil Gibran
Re Kleist: Well observed, tailor. It´s a different kind of comedy than the ones one watches on the telly. The theme in itself is not comic, but Adam, as a rather clumsy devil is a comic figure and so is Marthe, with her jug. And all ends well for the good people as is expected in a comedy.
re: sounds a bit dejected:

In fact the prospect of Armageddon is all really rather inconvenient for them, actually...
