So where is Larry now?
What has happened to Larry???
BeccaT pm'd me back in January and said to expect him in about a week, but I haven't gotten him :(. Granted, mail can take some time to get here, and maybe she didn't send him out immediately...and my mother (who gets my mail) was also gone for a week on vacation and gets back today....I guess he could still be in transit or sitting at the post office waiting for me to pick him up!

I'm really sad because St. Patty's Day is almost here, and I would hate for Larry to spend that special day in a box! We've got some bangin' St. Patty's Day parties down here, believe it or not.
What's more, my students are wondering where he is, too! I mentioned it to them and they haven't forgotten. Waaahhh! :(

I have a copy of what was on the CD when I got it. Of course, I don't have a copy of the journal.

by the way the idea of an e-journal is great but is nice to have the other journal too :P
It is unfortunate that he is gone; and my students were so looking forward to meeting Larry and being a part of his trip! It would have been perfect for me to bring him with me to Puerto Rico in August to NEDJ too! *cries*

So! A small discussion with Nightshade and Kilted over a pot of tea made us decide to revive the Larry around the world!... except... with Larry MIA in Canadan Post, we've recruited his childhood pal Uallachán ( Oo~uhl-ach-awn) to take over!
So if anyone from the original list who never got Larry are still interested in joining in again please let me know! Nightshade is going to take him now off to Turkey and Egypt tomorrow so she'll get the ball rolling. I've removed some of the names from the list because the folk dont frequent anymore. :(

So i'm adding three simple rules to this attempt...
Participants MUST be over 18
Participants MUST be active posters who regularly visit and post on the forum
Ullie + Diary/ Passport must be posted to the next person via Registered post so that we can keep track of his location. Tracking Numbers must be passed on to whoever is the next recipiant. :nod:
Rest of the rules/guidelines are simple
Participants are to only give their contact information/address to the person before them on the list via PM.
If you decide to post a little gift to the next person, please make sure it isnt something that can get Ullie held up with Customs.
Add a postcard of your town/ city to the package as a travelling keepsake or glue it into Ullies Diary/ passport. Write a small entry into the Diary/ Entry of all his activities (as if he was writing the entry himself. ;) )
Add photos of his trip to this thread so we can all enjoy what he is experiencing.
Last but not least... Everyone must take one photo of Ullie with a beverage local to your area whether it is a fruit juice, soda, beer, spirit, coffee or tea! :D
