At this moment, it's Gershwin's Our Love is Here To Stay, but only because I was talking to someone about how every song has it's absolute perfect tempo, and in order to demonstrate I sang that song too fast, then too slow, and then settled into the groove it was meant for.
And why did that song pop into my head to use? No idea. Just one of scores of standards from bygone decades that reside in a special lobe in my brain. (Like many people of my age, I also seem to have an entire lobe dedicated to the lyrics of Beatle songs)
