what does your laugh sound like?
I have a manly giggle . I've heard it described as everything from a gremlin to a horse. I would describe it as a chuckley-chortle.
What posters/decorations do you have on your walls?
Sconces, fake flowers, filigrees, flourishes, and some stuff that I ain’t even sure what it is. (I’ve got this mean red-haired woman who takes care of that for me.)
Do you prefer to walk or pedal?
walk. If I must. :p
Do you listen to music while you're on the comp?
Yes. Right now I'm listening to some unreleased System of a Down songs.
Whats the longest you ever went without any sleep? Were you on speed at the time?
Almost 30.. maybe 28 hours. Last week. No speed involved... but this forum helped.
Is the clock on this thing half an hour fast where you are, too?
yep...sure is, although i never noticed it before you mentioned it.
what is your favorite breakfast cereal?
It varies. Usually Crispix. Right now I'm on a raisin bran kick.
Ever seen a UFO? (soviet spy plane or otherwise)
ummmm, no. but i saw the ogopogo once
do you believe in ghosts?
(the kids watched scooby doo tonight!)
LOL no ghosts, per se. I think in some hot spots there's residual electromagnetic energy or something floating around in the atmosphere that some people happen to see. But mostly, people are just kooks.
vampires: eastern European folklore version -or- the Anne Rice type
neither... i have a dental hangup so the big bad teeth just turn me right off!
is it possible to love someone you dont respect?
I like the bloated-corpsey kind. :p
Uhm... no. It's possible to respect someone you hate. Personally, I can pity someone I don't respect, but you have to want to be near them to love them. And, on the other side of the coin, you wouldn't feel disrespect for someone you love in the first place.
Do you think people respect you?
Hope they do!
Have you ever been in situation that made you ask yourself :"To be or not to be?"
Oh my god, I have to travel 40 minutes once a month just to have some guy with a clipboard ask me that. The answer's still "no," fortunately.
How long did it take you to learn a second language for the first time?
six years while I was at school.
What makes you to be rude?
oh god i thought you wrote "nude" first, and it's only 11 in the morning! whoo! :D :D
um. people who don't know how to wait in line - this happened at admissions and records the other day and the girl actually insinuated her way over to the desk, leaned on it waiting for attention! she looked at me; i gave her the tightest *****-*** smile, and she took the hint/backed off.
do you dream in languages other than your native one? if so, did it help you learn them?
That would have to be Atlanta drivers (rudeness begets rudeness)
Do you ever find yourself telling a little white lie for no apparent reason?
Whoops I did it again.
Nope, although I do dream of other people speaking to me in languages that I don't understand.
Do you ever find yourself telling a little white lie for no apparent reason?
no. i did when i was younger - telling the truth seemed to have awful consequences, but lies make me unhappy and i don't get in trouble anymore for being honest (well actually i do have a big mouth and have to be pretty careful not to piss people off).
do you dream in languages other than your native one? if so, did it help you learn them?
LOL!!!
Too much funny! We're in sinc.
Quiet evening at home with a good book or a rip-roaring party with good friends?
both! i love quiet and i love my friends :)
do you obey the speed limit?
When there's an officer around.
Have you even had to testify in a courtroom??
No. Sat on jury duty till lunchtime next to this woman with what I can only describe as really rhythmic throat-clearing. Horrible.
Do you need a fan/music/other white noise while you sleep?
No, but my girlfriend does.
Do you cook roman noodles on the stove, or in the microwave?
stove. hate microwaves except when i'm famished. they kill the enzymes.
turn around. what's the first thing you see?
Black Sabbath poster on the back of my door. Its a '75 era photo with a red filter and a crazy big tribal/I'm-trying-to-look-Satanic-but-I-don't-want-to-piss-off-any-real-Satanists-and-have-them-sacrifice-a-goat-to-Baal-so-he'll-make-my-balls-shrivel-up-inside-me-or-somthing-equally-as-nasty symbol.
Have conservative Christians that are terrified of the psychic powers of the self consceous brainwashed you into being scared of Ouiji boards?
LMAO. I like it.
Ouija (hah) boards are good for place mats and lap desks.
Do you eat at the table or in front of the tube?
in front of the tube, although I HATE TV, I guess I just hate the table more.
Do you always forget to post a question and have to go back and edit one in?
No, when I forget I only remember when I get told. And when I edit I only end up screwing up everyone's answers and making it confusing, so I just let myself get told off.
Do you think the questions were better at the very beginning of this thread?
and from page 45 you want us to backtrack and read how many pages?! lol ;)
hm. like nows better
do you share the covers?
Occasionally with my cat. :D And then, yes, I'm a masochist when it comes to sharing covers -- sometimes I almost fall off the bed because he feels like stretching out in the middle. We'll see if I'm so kind when I have to share them with someone not so purry and soft. :p
If you could choose that God should be any one person, who would it be? (I'd go with Morrison.)
Morrison may an angel, but god? I don't know. Afterall he wrote:
Cancel my subscription to the resurrect-shun
Send my credentials to the house of detent-shun
I’ve got some friends in there…
I may have to go with Mother Teresa
Do you guys think Earth-Day was a success?
D'oh! Forgot all about E-Day. Umm... how do you measure its success? [(trees planted - old growth "harvested")x(litter picked)]all over(amt. pollution chugged into the air/waterways) ?? We're in a spiral of loss, no matter how many flowers kindergarteners plant one day a year. (Sorry, wrong person to answer a state-of-the-environment question. :p)
Was "Blowin' in the Wind" based on "how much wood can a woodchuck chuck?"
No. Dylan said 'The first way to answer the questions in the song is by asking them. But lots of people first have to find the wind.'
When did you last cut your toenails?
about 4 or 5 days ago. I have the nicest toenails of any male I've ever met. I just think gross toenails are the grossest thing. <shudders> So I take really good care of mine, better even than my fingernails.
What's the crazyist food you've ever eaten?
Head Cheese
Do you have any pets?
Right now I only have a house plant named Regus, but back home my parents have birds. Lots and lots of birds.
What is head cheese?
Well, according to Laura Ingalls Wilder, it has something to do with pig cranium.
LOL Regus.
More importantly: WHY is head cheese?
Because its too far to walk, of course
Sorry, I'm a lil bitty drunked right now. :p
When was the last time you were a lil bitty drunked :p ?
