Picture it: sometime last fall I was in a department store. I turned a corner and there it was: the best purse in the whole wide world.:D I loved this purse, I didn't buy it because it was a little pricey. Then about a week later the department store was having a sale - 30% off all purses!!!:banana::eek: Soooooo I went to pick up my new purse and they were out of the color and style I wanted. I went to the other department store across town and they were out also.:bawling:

At work we have this annual shutdown which requires long hours and is generally pretty stressful. Anyways one sunday while at work I was surfing the net and I found the purse on sale so of course since I shop (and eat) when stressed I ordered it. I got it a few days later but didn't get a chance to play with it until last week (really long hours). I've been carrying it around for about a week and I love it!!:D However, it's purple patent leather and could very easily look like a hooker would own it.:lol:

I have hooker taste!!!

Do hookers carry purses? I wouldn't have thought so. Or at least, I don't think any of the ones I've seen have...

Papayahed, I love purple and purses in purple are great....patent leather would be even more fun. I was just looking through spring folders and saw every color imaginable. I love having various colors. My sister is a 'purple freak' too, and loves to buy purple colored purses and shoes. Hey, I don't think they look like a hooker purse at all. All colors this year seem to be in-style. Enjoy that purse!!! :D So glad you found it and could buy it.:thumbs_up Why of course, don't we all shop off our stress? :lol:

Papayahed, its all in the way you carry it! If you don't act like a hooker, then I'm sure a purple purse won't make you look like one.

Carrying the purse isn't so much the issue as is the notion that I may possibly have bad taste. I think I've always known but it's still tough to come to grips..

And I am sure we have all have a few items that go under "what am I thinking?" section in our wardrobes but still enjoy wearing them.
