I'm thinking of writing a book of limericks. Why would you want to make your book anonymous?

Hello everyone .. I am glympsy from India..It will be nice to talk all of you.
Hi, I'm Kristopher Murdock (or Kris), an Apostolic Pentecostal from Fredericktown, Missouri, but it's fine to refer to me by just my username. Jesus is my everything, and I love using drama and music to praise Him and share Him with others.
I found this forum when researching Gaston LeRoux's Phantom of the Opera for a musical I'm adapting from a sequel novel. The research is for the purpose of making sure that when I reference elements set in place by the first story, I'm going by what LeRoux's book says and not by what I've learned from Andrew Lloyd Webber (since his musical is still copyrighted and I'm not affiliated with him or his company).
By the way, I encourage everyone to check out the Scriptures in my signature to learn what God says about Himself and His plan of Salvation. Also, check the Ustream link (also in my signature) to watch service videos anytime from the most powerful and loving church of which I've ever been a member.
I look forward to interacting with fellow community members and sharpening each other's literary knowledge and skills.
Welcome to the forums RnR!
Welcome aboard all the new members :)
I sing the ancient arc of time, dance in its dust and laugh under its moonlight - oh yeah, and if there's time left over, I write about it. Hi boys and girls....
Hello everyone,
You can call me George Gordon, but you don't have to call me Lord Byron (from whom I stole the name).
RnR/Kris, I'm always glad to see someone involved in drama and music - I wonder if you might know or be interested in the musical "The Gospel at Colonus?" It just came to mind.
Gerheartsolomon, I love those lines you've posted - very striking.
As for me, I just joined up. I'm a doctoral student in theatre, though I started out as a musician and have a bachelor's degree in music composition. I love to sing, write plays and poetry, and generally behave in rewardingly abnormal ways. My favorite authors are Bill Shakespeare, Sam Beckett, and Joe Goethe; favorite book is a tough choice between Finnegans Wake and Moby-Dick. As for music, Mozart, Wagner, Schoenberg, Mingus, and the Beatles should do.
I've been studying French as a second language, so I have to mention Mallarmé and especially Racine.
Current projects include research into opera, intermedial theatre, and a music-theatre adaptation of Percy and Mary Shelley's work. Looking around here, I've already been introduced to some new authors, and I look forward to trading interests with all of you!
Welcome, George Gordon! So you were able to read Finnegans Wake?
Welcome, George Gordon. I am also a fan of Byron. You have a lot of interests that are at home here.
Thanks, YesNo and Dreamwoven!
I hope we'll have plenty of opportunities to talk about Byron - a prolific writer and an eventful life. Even Gertrude Stein had a few things to say about him.
I'll admit that I haven't read the entirety of the Wake from front to back, but I've read most of it by opening it to random sections and continuing for great lengths. It seems appropriate somehow. I've also been aided by Roland McHugh's Annotations to Finnegans Wake, which displays the annotations visually as they correspond to the words' placement on the novel's pages. Of course, no one but Joyce can claim to understand the whole thing.
"The fall (bababadalgharaghtakamminarronnkonnbronntonnerronn tuonntrovarrhounawnskawntoohoohoordenenthurnuk!)"
It's a lot of fun.
Welcome, George Gordon, Glympsy, RnR and scumbag Steve... Hope you have a good time here...
Hello everyone , hope this introduction finds each and everyone of you well.
I joined to share my short stories. Novels nauseate me , short stories get right into the thick of it and then cuts the water off and I love it.
I also enjoy playing chess when I'm focused and can take my time .
Learning and watching colonial craftsmanship .

Welcome, Cal. I've always intended to read some of Atwood's work. Make yourself at home.
Wellcome, Ben, I think many would agree with you, looking for stories with a twist.
I've just finished reading an Anne Perry book of 19th century London -"Cain his brother". Now there is a book with a twist. Anne Perry had a strange past, read it up in the Wikipedia article on her. I have a whole shelf of Anne Perry's work.
Hi all,
My names is Jason. By day I am an IT nerd and by night a book nerd. I'm originally from Illinois but after many adventures and plots twists, I find myself currently living in Prague, CZ.
Prague is a beautiful city. Welcome to Lit.net!
Bonjour, salut, hello, hola. I hate writing introductions about myself, so rather I'd just like to invite people to get to know me.
I'm sure you will. I like this place. I think I'll bug you guys for a while.
FYI: Basic info - My name's Natalie, I live in London, I work in publishing, I will probably piss you off with my stubborn opinions.
Hi All, just registered today ,with great difficulty. I live in the West of Ireland, and the broadband is rather hit and miss occasionally. I have tried to read Ullyses on a number of occasions , but failed miserably. My last attempt was about 20 years ago. Im now 58 years young, and have decided to give it another shot. I know its a masterpiece , simply because all the scholars and ordinary people who revere this work, cannot all be wrong. So, there has to be something there ! Im not acedemic in any way. Im a paramedic in the HSE National Ambulance Service. I live in Co. Mayo, and my name is John. Perhaps ,this time I may succeed, having the benefit of the great university of life. I intend to start soon, very slowly ,under no pressure. Wish me luck
Welcome Nattikur and johnnybloom. I've been having internet connection problems myself today but we will shortly be getting cable broadband...
Thank you. Looking forward....thats all, just looking forward.
Hello
hi friends
Hey everyone. I'm absolutely sure my name would be hard to pronounce so I just go by Faust.
The last book I've read is Stick and Rudder - an explanation of the art of flying by Wolfgang Langewiesche. I'm currently a literature student in a far far away country whose educational system had me ended in my current major whereas I always wanted to fly. Enjoying and savoring literature and studying it as a major had been completely different experiences for me and let me tell you the latter is not quite pleasant.
I am about to gradute in June with quite mediocre grades and finally going to have a chance to hopefully land a fullride cadetship with my national flag carrier airline. I have my own pieces and I believe there is more on the way when I finally pin those wings up on my chest and cheat on land with clouds.
This is my first post and I hope it will not go unnoticed. Any contribution to my crippled knowledge of literature is highly appreciated. Feel free to contact me through pm. Nice to meet you all.
G'day Natalie. Nice to meet you. I think it will be a toss up who is more stubborn though, you or me. hahaha
G'day Johnny, I haven't read it myself. Good luck with it. In Australia we just got N. B. N, (National Broadband Network). It's supposed to be the best thing yet in broadband. So far it is no faster than my old ADSL. hahaha
Hi Faust, Good luck with graduating.
G'day Almaas, nice to meet you.
Hello, here I am. I am an English major to be. Next semester is when I'll start that journey. The most recent book I've read was Kafka's "The Metamorphosis," if that counts as a whole book on its own, otherwise what I completed before that was Orwell's "1984." I am reading two books on and off right now, one at night and one in the day, Nabokov's "Lolita" and Joyce's "Ulysses," respectively. My grammar is bad, according to my latest poetry professor. I love alliteration for no particular reason. I live in Massachusetts.
Welcome kcitte. The 4 authors you mention are undoubtedly central to this forum.
G'day kcitte. Welcome.
"If you don't read, you don't learn'. Me 2016 :)
Hi everyone, look forward to making some new friends, fresh debate & stimulating conversation. I am known as the Cockney Bard Poet, Author & Philosopher. I have appeared on Radio & TV a few times & more recently on the BBC. Love doing talks & teaching. I have a passion for Shakespeare, moreover the great enigma that is Shakespeare. Love to hear 'To Be or Not to Be' read properly. Many times it is not and pains my ears, heart & soul. My two favourite Sonnets are 144 & 86. For more about me please read www.thecockneybard.com it may well challenge the way you think! Never be ashamed to admit you are wrong as it is the first great step to ascertaining truth!
