:lol: Yeah a lot of people drop out fast. My last school was like that too, but the one before that was a public school - they had a uniform but it was pretty optional. If you rocked up in other clothes they didn't care, as long as you showed up for the day!

The dance course is optional, but most of the students take it. In my year only two girls missed the whole event (and one of them because she broke her leg), and only one of the boys. Actually many boys take the course two times, because there's usually more girls than boys in upper secondary schools, so girls ask younger boys to be their partners. In our year there were three times as much girls as there were boys, so we had almost all the boys from the first year dancing, as well as some of the older boys and a few guys from comprehensive school, a couple of boyfriends from other schools and even a teacher or two dancing with the girls who didn't get a partner from our own year. Some girls also danced with other girls, and some girls sat out a dance or two so that the rest could borrow their partners :DQuote:

Our limo was the 2nd one there, and so we got to see everyone arrive :D

But we did have a jive competition. The couple on the far right are my partner and one of my besties, because I wasn't able to do that dance, and neither could her partner :)

I had a drink spilt on me, and I was the first to trip over ones own dress. Apart from that, things went pretty well :)
I came to look at sprinksys pictures.... and I feel like ive wandered into a girls bathroom. :lol:

The last time I was in a girls bathroom (well not really a girls bathroom but in a bathroom with 3 girls) I got stuck judging the makeup they were putting on. I wanted to jump out a window.

:lol: Totally understood, Sprinks! It was actually hair that was the problem at my prom - I had an elegant up-do that I kept messing with. (And now, my hair is short, so no one can ever put me through such torture again!)
