Oil drains from tanker
Roads, empty like a desert
And a tree bows to die
I hope I got it well :?
Burn and rage away
Embers of withholding hate
Within finally freed
Within finally freed
My soul is lighter than air
My wings meet the sky
My wings meet the sky
Heaven is beyond my feet
As I look downwards
As I look downwards
I pity those who don't feel
Such freedom-- such love
Such freedom -- such love
Such blazing eyes of cool blue
Peer into the depths
Peer into the depths
Seas pregnant with aqua life
Ribbons of blue light
Peer into the depths
Futures that the waters hold
Scry the face of love
...nevermind....Janine beat me... Hi Janine! Hi Robin!
Hi Misscaroline, how are you tonight? Is "scry" a word - can't find it in my dictionary. What does it mean? Anyway, I see I bet you, but can you tell me anyway? For the record. A short while back I wrote a haiku and don't see where I got the first line from unless someone changed theirs since I wrote it, seems no one even noticed it. I would write another H for your's but don't know what scry means. J
I will write next haiku....
Ribbons of blue light
Amaze my eyes of gray blue
Thoughtful soul is still
Thoughtful soul is still
Kept hidden within one's heart.
Must air out the room.
Nice Haiku V!
Must air out the room
Strip ghost sheets from furniture
Open hearts this year
I like yours too. ;)
Open hearts this year
for our Christmas donations
Time for giving help.
Time for giving help
Season when goodness is shared
And kindness is spread.
and kindness is spread
without bias, covering
our souls' open wounds
Scry: to see or predict the future by means of a crystal ball
I really need to get an Unabridged.
Our souls' open wounds
Make their marks upon our brows
Our worries and fears
Our worries and fears
Cast dim by the neon lights
Our love will prove strong
*cheesy*
Our love will prove strong
We can defeat anything
As long as we love
And for the record, you can scry with many different things. Glass, mirrors, water, wind, just about anything...
as long as we love
worlds will continue to turn,
step into the game
opps meant to write my haiku
Step into the game
Precarious it might be
But worth the effort
but worth the effort,
(well) it was, said Yoda to
his young disciple.
his young disciple
homesick for his native land
sought a way back home

Well, as you may have noticed Virgil - I spelled "scry" wrong - think it was a typo - I had it "scy" left out the "r". I just looked in another dictionary of mine and it is not there - on to the bigger and newer one now.
Virgil it was awfully nice of you to PM thanking all for your birthday celebration. You are very gracious and appreciative.
Thanks for the links - also you are always so helpful. You should have been a teacher or prof. I think you missed your true calling.
Here's my haiku
Sought a way back home
Found his lost love waiting there
Left behind, with child
I have to check that poem out...wow. When is the deadline date? I had wanted to try writing one. Probably too late now. Thought you would be out celebrating your B-day or were you...if so how was it...good dinner or whatever? Nice Haiku for the season!
Here is mine~
Bright star leads the way
Galaxies in soulfull space
Bring forth a new year
Your haiku - so New York, Virgil! Just wrote you a PM about your poem. I loved it!
Midnight revelries
Faces painted, brightly glow
Excitement expands
I love that last one Janine, the quality of your haikus leaves me in more and more awe every time!
Excitement expands
A thousand huddled sparrows
Soar beneath my gaze
Soar beneath my gaze
My little one, my sweetheart.
Spring means separation.
Hiya Virgil! I hope youre enjoying your sunday morning. How is the lovely Brandi? :)
Spring means seperation
But every fall bounces back
Trampoline magic
Fine thanks; Just came back from our weekend morning walk to an open field where we play fetch with a tennis ball. Now that she's eaten, she's burnd out of energy. ;) Just as I like it. :D
Hope your Sunday went well.
Trampoline magic,
Summersaults and wild back flips.
The circus wants me.
:D
I love taking my dog on looong morning walks for the same purpose! It's so nice for her to be spread on her dog bed very content for the afternoon. In the evening she begs for another hour of exercise, i call her the epitome of indefatigable :p
The circus wants me
Blessed with an eccentric flair
Juggling decisions

makes for a hard day.
Drama, you really do mean that about my haikus? I thought this one was pretty simplistic. I was thinking on the film of "Much Ado About Nothing"...remember the revelers? I liked the lead in first line...made me think of it. Thanks for the compliments and the ones on my mug shot! Did you post one in the photo album yet? I liked your last Haiku also...great. Virgil, yours are quite nice, too.
Here's my H ~
Makes for a hard day
Time's tetiously tiring
When our hearts stagnat
When our hearts stagnate
Disproves warmth and loyalty.
Gimme some coffee!
Hi beautiful Janine! :)
Did you see my photo then? I got brave. You are beautiful (inside and out) too. Hey Lain, I like your new avy - it is really pretty. I like the way you change them so often but keep this one for awhile. I like looking at it.
Gimme some coffee!
The new day has just begun
Creative thoughts flow
I have seen your GORGEOUS photo, Janine! And what can I say...you're simply beautiful!! :)
I like my avatar a lot too. I've always been dreamy thinking of the color misty violet and decided to Picture anager it. That's a Daffodil Fairy, daffodil being the Aquarian flower, and Aquarian being me. :p It was originally yellow but I thought that it might conflict with yours as I post a lot on this thread, but I think it came out well! Yes, I'm keeping this for a little while...I like staring at it too. :p
Creative thoughts flow
While juices spill on the floor.
Hmmm...I am thirsty...
Neat Lainy, daffodil fairy - never heard of one but that is cool.
Gee... beautiful (?) - not sure of that - I have always gotten "cute" in person, but it is sweet of you to say so....You are really beautiful and gorgeous hair. Some people have told me I have pretty blue eyes - very English or Scottish, some French thrown in - my roots, I suppose. My mother has blue eyes, but I am the only one, out of my siblings, that have them. I was lucky.
I love that avy so keep it awhile. I like looking at it, too! I wrote you a note in Photo album, too ...just before this.
Hmmm...I am thirsty...
And the dessert is endless
Hunger grips taunt skin
Geez, thanks Janine! I've always loved my hair. :)
And I WILL keep my avy, yeah. ;)
If you want me to say you're cute, then I will...Cute Janine...Hihi...
That was a nice haiku. :thumbs_up
Hunger grips taunt skin
Of ivory, ebony.
Either is pretty.
Sorry for my sucks-to-you worthy haiku. I'm terrible at this right now. :(
