i dont have pigeons to feed, but I do put food out on my porch rail in the winter for other birds to come eat, and I really enjoy that, and watching them too.

just yesterday danik I was down by my pond hauling wood back to my house to cut. spritzer had followed me down there. after a few trips, all of a sudden "poof!" and poof was there. they laid in the tallish grass and alongside a tree less than 10ft apart, for about 20 minutes not doing anything other than knowing each other was there.

a few days ago I found spritzer sitting atop a lumber pile looking down on the ground where poof was sitting. i hadn't heard any ruckus leading to that scenario but i can well imagine spritzer going up there to escape from poof. when i let spritzer out the first thing she does is look both ways to see if poof is around.

Used to feed pigeons at my window years ago.The problem was, they visited the neighboring windows as well. Today it is forbidden to feed the birds and there is a fee on it. Even so, there are people secretly feeding them and they thrive on it.
