Random Thought of the Day

Infinite peace is there at the heart of every living entity, and all it takes to reach it is the wish, the desire, the absolute aspiration for attainment, and it is instantly found. There is nothing external, nothing consumption-related to reach it - only the wish for peace, and it's achieved. This infinite peace is within every cell of every from of the universe, every living being and every soul. Because it is there in everything, all are inherently sacred, holy and divine - all that's necessary to regain this sovereignty, this beauty, is the aspiration to reach such peace, and then life becomes beautiful again.

today it has been a 100 years since women on the ice could vote so there is a celebration and most workplaces are closed. So a nice day in fine weather and everyone is wearing pink.

Really cold water makes me so sleepy.

Maybe it is just your avatar, but I remembered some wretched doggerel of mine from the other night when my roommate and I entertained each other with verse suicide notes. It's the only one I remember, though he had some much better ones. I suppose this will serve as my random thought:

My mind was all a muddle
So now I lie a puddle
For your prater to fuddle.

But I hate to make you sad
All in all good times were had
Though I serve you this trouble.

Get up and clear your plate
Just think it isn't too late
And be glad it wasn't double.

What we need to accept in life are the polarities and paradoxes we face, which are inescapably human.

(the goblin just thanked everyone for their odd acceptance of him, saying "...I guess I repost stuff often enough, strangely it's only then, at that point, that I notice those typos or some ambiguity, subtle or otherwise, which had been there under my nose all along...", the goblin was just confessing, that he often didn't see, what he saw, for what he thought he was seeing instead, continuing "...now another way to look mad in the bistro it to read one's post aloud, albeit in a low voice, which not only helps one smooth out the wording somewhat but it also gains one a large berth between oneself and the others around one...", by "others" the goblin meant those bistro goers again, who were ever seated a few tables away, and who had rightly guessed by now that the goblin is either composing some texts, therefore mad then, or that he's just mad anyway, most probably because they considered themselves to be sane by that default there, or at least sane by some visual comparison perhaps...", something that the goblin was loathed to admit to himself then, and where he wouldn't comply with them anyway, no, just how he hated their silly conformities, so maybe for the goblin too, this berth between them and him was something of a blessing after all, declaring aloud "...me I don't do right in the right way, I do the write thing in my way...")

("...ah, but I do wonder how one is ever going to get one's grammar right towards those readers who are moving targets in what they choose to read, and whose level of grammatical understanding is probably less than yours to begin with..." ventured the goblin not sure really, but then adding "...learn grammar yes, but don't lose sight of your readers in the process, where they'll forgive your errors for your individuality there but who will no doubt shy away from anyone who goes marching their writings along the page in some time honoured grammatical goosestep...", and then the goblin smiled, saying "...grammar is like the time in its way, one tells the time when asked, and knows the time for oneself too, but one doesn't keep telling people the time, nor follows that time by the second neither...", yet maybe the goblin wasn't being helpful here so he fell silent hoping that he hadn't offended anyone in his honesty, while the slot for its part was simply hungry and wondered if the goblin had finished the post yet, saying "...goblin, you had to learn to unlearn, leave be and let go lest those years will catch up with you once more, you're younger now...")

the weather here on the ice is terrible, a storm is raging and I don't want to go to bed cause I am afraid the wind will blow something away or at my house or something. I hate this kind of weather. I may have to keep my son at home tomorrow because of the storm, I just want snow, frost and no wind, is that to much to ask for

I bought tea and it's not good, but it was expensive so I am drinking it

Poor tea, Helga, is one of the great disappointments the world has to offer. I say this as an (prepare for the understatement of the year) avid tea drinker. I've learned a few tips and tricks over the years. Only the loose leaf, never the bags; while the expensive stuff may not always be great, as you've tragically learned, it is more often than not the better stuff, because quality costs money; and when you find a brand you like, stick with it.
