In my experience I think the telly opened up the world to youth in a way that books couldn't, and vice versa in the '50's and '60's and so on. We still played an enormous amount of time outdoors back in the day.

When I was a kid I read, read and read. I don't remember missing tv. Only later when I went to school I realized that reading wasn't an usual habit.
So maybe Spritzer and Poof are starting to get used to each other. I'm not sure about cat violence if Poof is still fighting to get into your house preferably as only cat.With you around Spritzer would be more protected.
Fresh fruit juice isn't cheap even here but it's not much more expensive than a soft drink and maybe the same price as a beer. And at least orange juice you find in each bar or restaurant.

recently they were both hanging out on the front porch at the same time and i was thinking "détente!" well hang that idea danik! this morning spritzer wanted out but poof was on the porch. so she went warily and I helped her by picking her up and setting her on the rail. a handful of minutes later I heard a major cat fracas and I rushed outside to stop poof from chasing spritzer any further up a tree. she ended up huddled on a small branch and wouldn't come down because she could see poof on the porch. I eventually coaxed her down but she lost her grip on the way down and did not land on her feet. thankfully she wasn't hurt.
the internet says they weren't married danik, but dated for a long time. either way, I don't think I knew that. everyone here knows her as tom brady's wife, now ex wife.
I just got done dog sitting and am a big fan of that. cannot imagine "baby sitting" at this stage in life. or maybe ever!

See what I mean when I say at this point it's good when you are around, Bounty. Spritzer is very much afraid of Poof, and Poof, who is probably stronger wants to chase her away. If both are outside and you are away it may happen that Poof succeeds in chasing Spritzer away or in harming her.
