5:15 ~ The Who
the whole Hail to the Theif album by Radiohead. I just love every song on this CD I daresay it is even better then OK Computer or Pablo Honey. Between 2+2=5, Scatterbrain, you have one of the best songs I have ever heard in Sail to the Moon. It is just brilliant top to bottom, both lyrical and holds a fabulous melody. I cannot say I dislike a single song.
I don't know, some guy who isn't Layne Staley and that actually worries me a bit but you know, Jerry Cantrell sang a lot of the songs as well so I try to convince myself it won't be so jarring. I saw them and Gretchen Wilson on VH1 honors playing Heart's Barracuda, which was awesome, by the way, and it made me want to see them. The new guy didn't sing, Gretchen did, all he did was play guitar...maybe that's all he does and Jerry does all the singing, that wouldn't be so bad. I should look into that...
All my music files disappeared from iTunes, they were still on my computer, just not in iTunes so I've had to import all 2653 songs, reorganize everything, create playlists again and re-rate everything. I like my songs to be rated because it makes creating those "smart" playlists easier so that's what I've been doing the last couple of days, rating every bloomin' song and it's very tedious. After 2 days, I'm only on the "E"s. Right now, I'm deciding how many stars Now by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians is worth.
Curious -- well, we shall just have to see. Will be lacking without Layne's unmistakable voice, but it will be a treat, nonetheless. I am going to keep my ear to the ground on this one, too! Thanks so much for mentioning this. :)
LoL! Have fun with your star rating system! :) It was too bad to lose your files, but now in getting yourself all re-set up, it sounds like you are enjoying it!Quote:

It depends on the artist. The worst ones to do are the albums that I'm pretty neutral on or worse, those terrible albums by artists I normally love. The latest Dave Matthews Band and Coldplay albums were just excrutiating in their mediocrity and the latest David Gilmour one is painful as well. Having to go through those awful or lackluster songs just brings back all the disappointment and heartbreak. :( Ah, but then there are those gems I've forgotten about that I've rediscovered...that's the best part. ;)
Now I'm listening to some song called Jarhand by Immaculate Conception...I have no idea where this song came from and I'm not entirely sure I like it.
