I used to love taking the backroads to Santa Cruz, CA and just drive, either North or South on HWY 1/Coastal highway with no destination in mind. But there was this one beach to the North that called like a siren's song (I've mentioned before I believe somewhere) that was a sanctuary for my sensibilities. So, both I guess.
