Hang on - did I miss something here? 'Next batch of 100 coins'?
Ok all 20 Cervantes on Spain beating Honduras. If this isn't a sure thing, then I give up with this world cup.
Portugal to win - 10
England fails to advance--10!:ihih:
They were free money last game, also.
nice, I thought I was out completely, I was gonna bet on Denmark to win against Japan on Thursday though.
20 on Portugal
30 on Chile
5 on a draw between Spain and Honduras... If they play the way they did in the last game then i dont expect Spain to win!
60 portugal
50 chile
50 spain (cant be that bad again surely?)
Spain will be awesome tonight against lowly Honduras, they are going to play 4-4-2 and come out attacking, expect a magic display of football just like Brazil last night. I thought Brazil looked outstanding, strong at the back and brilliant going forward - still my favourites to win - I hope you took advantage of the free betting account money I posted before, £100's coming my way, he, he...
If I only had some Lit Net credits though, I could double my credits tonight with no worries, easy. Anybody want to lend me some credit and I can secure their loan again my payday on Friday? That will give you a 50% risk free profit to be paid by the end of the game or by Friday at the latest.
Come on lend an old boy a few credits, someone...anyone...Scher? Kilted?

I am trying very hard not to be offended here, Mark...
I was under the impression that everyone on the Forum read each and every single one of my posts with utmost dedication!
:svengo:
Here's the story in quotes:So, before Saturday's games, everyone will be issued 100 extra Shaws.
Neely> Go and open a bottle of Belgian or read some Wilde. You can do this. No more betting for you here till Saturday.
:hand:
Excellent first half.
N.Korea is playing so well (admittedly they are not as good as their first match).
I am constantly in awe of these lesser known teams and am hoping that in future tournaments, they will make their presence felt even more.
OK, I am not watching this game anymore.

Ha, ha, not true, I have all my addictions under control, I am much more careful with real money and I have only gone through about 48 bottles of Stella last week. Don't worry, I've been and got another 3 crates so I have plenty stocked up in the Kitchen.

Strange business.
Some really deluded types here think we can maybe draw with Paraguay as well in our group, which has raised the thought of what happens in a group if teams end on identical points.
Turns out, some official draws a name out of a hat!
I find that unbelievable.
A team could easily work for four years, fight for three points, only to be told they go home because some bloke who probably never played the game eliminated them on a coin toss!
Yeah that would indeed suck, yet what alternative is there? Flying the teams together for a rematch or a penalty shootout would disturb the tournament time schedule. Additionally, if a team can't even get enough points to clearly get second in a group, then they gotta expect losing to a coin toss..
As a side note, has anyone noticed how outrageously bad and biased the referee in Switzerland vs. Chile was?
The French are becoming a farce.

Anyone who knows what happened in November probably understands why their actions are annoying me. They didnt deserve to be there in the first place, they are proving they didnt deserve to be there in the first place and their behaviour and lack of care about being there while ruining their chances of winning or proceeding, has angered me. Getting into the World Cup meant alot to my country and because of the cheating French, we were denied it FIFAs lack of care in "fair play" meant we werent taken seriously when complaining against their precious France. Wonder what they are thinking now. I hope they are cursing their judgement and mockary of the ROIs appeals. Karma is biting them in the bottom!:incazzato:
It is only as a very last resort though. It comes down to points, goal difference, goals scored, result in the head-to-head before lots are drawn. It has only happened once in World Cup history. In the case of New Zealand they would have to draw with Paraguay and Italy would have to draw to Slovakia with the same scoreline for that to happen. So if NZ drew 1-1 and Italy drew 0-0 NZ would go through on goals scored. So lots are unlikely to happen. If they did draw them though and it was between Italy and New Zealand for the lots I wouldn't fancy your chances on the "50/50" though if you know what I mean, sorry to say...
Ah yes the French are absolutely mad, the whole thing is like to cheap soap opera, a bunch of babies if you ask me. I had to laugh the other day when I read that one of the players Gourcuff didn't get on with anybody else (or they didn't get on with him) and they refused to sit with him at meal times, and get this, refused to share playstation 3 time with him.:biggrinjester::lol::lol:

Tomorrow:
Mexico vs. Uruguay
France vs South Africa
Greece vs Argentina
Nigeria vs South Korea
my goal is to be at 550 before the end of the group stages, so no large bets on unsure results but huge on certainties - as such here are my wagers for tomorrow:
Mexico win - 10
South Africa win - 5
Argentina win - 50
Nigeria/South korea draw - 5
might as well get my stakes in too....
Mexico and Uruguay to Draw in order to keep whiny French out- 10
South Africa- 5
Argentina- 40
Nigeria and South Korea to Draw- 5
Here are my bets:
Mexico win 5 Castenadas
France and South Africa draw 5 Castenadas
Argentina win 10 Castenadas
Nigeria win 5 Castenadas
I'd put everything on on a Mexico Uruguay draw.
Its easy when you've no coin though.
I'm not risking anything on these ones.
I've been out of action lately...had to work for a change :D but seeing as my team's playing today I have to put a bet on that at least!
So, I'll say all in on South Africa to win today! That's 20 muntstukke Scher, not 25...last time I bet was on England and I actually lost 5 to the draw.
Ok, here are my bets for today.
In honor of the French being so entertaining this world cup - entertaining OFF the FIELD, that is - I am going to bet on that game. :D
South Africa to win ~ 10 Voltaires :p
Argentina to win ~ 30 Voltaires
Why everyone thinks that Mexico will win :confused5:? or to a draw.. !!!
I think Forlan can do it.. and Uruguay wants to be the head of the Group.. to be in a good position and not face Argentina later .
