I have never used them. I think the one's I've listed are too far from reality. They're jokes. But there are pick up lines; I just never was any good at that.

Dear Lord, this is embarassing! :blush: You see, I'm a small-town guy, and it's not that we don't have prostitutes, but they are not really out front about it. They have their clients, and meeting places away from the main area, and I am Naive as all heck. Well, I'm coming back from Arkansas from a preaching engagment in several churches, and I stop on the outskirts of Nashsville for gas. I have a nice suit on, and I go in to pay for the gas, go to the Loo, and get something to eat. This rather attractive black girl in tight pants asks me "Sir, are you looking?" My brilliant reply? "For what?" She asked again and raised an eyebrow, and I still don't get what's going on. She smiled, shakes her head, and says "Guess not." It's when she's walking off that it dawns on me. :blush: What a doofus!

with that, I turned and walked away. Adding my name and that I hoped she would enjoy her drink.
By the end of the evening we had exchange numbers.
I switched seats in class to sit next to someone I'd never really met before. I think she likes me now.
Robin is turning into a lover boy. First french kissing, now he's hitting on every girl in the class. :p

The ones who make me giggle are the guys who get all mad when a woman turns them down and insist it must be because she is a lesbian. Maybe some of the ladies they hit on are, but some guys have an over inflated view of their "charms".

Last night I walked down a road to pick Koa ( with another friend) and Im walking down the road and I get whats it called when people (usually men sterotypically truck drivers and builders) yell somthing as you walk by? Anyway it happens , and we get 'complimented' in arabic accompanied by sniggers becasue they didnt realise I understood them, and for the first time ever I had a comeback just when I needed it :D:banana: I mean I always hate it but its especially annoying when they think you dont understand them.
Keeping in mind that this is the dear lady I've been married to for 27 years, here was my brilliant pick-up line. We had been best-friends for years. We would tell each other things we wouldn't tell the people we dated. I walked with her one morning before school up to the top of the stairs, and I said, "You know, Mart, there's this girl I've being wanting to ask out, but I can't get the nerve." She gave me a look. "That's not like you. You should never be afraid of anything." I glanced away, and looked back. "Then I'm asking." She said "And I accept." That was almost 28 years ago. Corny? Yeah. But it worked fine! :)

Thankfully I hardly ever get any, but when I do they are the most awful things one could imagine :lol: From the guys in Hungary who try to conquer you telling you about a certain fact in the history of they're country, to a guy I know now whom I met when we were at a trip around the city, just by the stadium, so he started the conversation with a comment about football... romantic isn't it ;)
Aww poor Koa. I hope one day you find a guy with wonderful, clever pick-up lines worthy of you. Some horrible, juvenile boy in my class last year tried "What would you say if i asked you out?" on me and i told him, as politely as i could, that if he gained the confidence to ask me directly he might get a better answer. Not that i would agree in either case but its good to spread constructive criticism where you can :p
heheh, when I was in school I somehow managed to ward off unwelcome admirers just by scowling permanently :) no one ever tried a pick up line on me :) which doesn't mean I didn't have admirers, but they were my nerdy friends, not just any old class mate I didn't really know.
*sigh* I love it when guys wear AXE. It smells nice. Especially in the youth group van when half of them don't wear deodorant;:sick: you need something to cover it up somewhat :pQuote:

Oh! I've gotten a lot of great pick up lines in the past but I think my favorite, and by that I mean the most hilarious was, back in my wild, bar hopping, chain smoking days, I had a guy tell me he just wanted to stand by our table and "watch me make love to my cigarette". :lol: My friend and I laughed so hard, I think my friend may have even showered the poor guy with her beer. :lol: :lol:
Well, I'm sure that shower did wonders for his aroma! :lol:
