love 'em both but flour it is. big lots used to sell little 6in ones for pretty cheap but they stopped carrying them so I haven't bought any in a long time.
andy seems like a dark horse....
and heres the aforementioned maybe really toughie:
the adventures of superman vs night court
-
Nah, going for the giggle... Night Court
Frisby golf or Miniature golf ?
-
i like both of them also but i think mini golf is more fun, and makes for a better date too.
I feel from a previous oversight I have to insert hogans heroes into the tournament.
I can either make one pig-tail with an already existing semi-finalist, or we can change the format to a round robin where all remaining five shows/teams play each other.
or you can tell me offhand that hogans heroes aint no big thing and we can still have a round robin, or finish in the traditional bracket way.
which one do you like best?
-
No big deal w/ HH... it was better than McHN and FT and TSS and but takes a back seat to M&M and HD and BM and NC, and maybe C and TH, but definitely behind M and BBT! So continue the way it is...
Triceratops or T-Rex ?
-
I know t-rex's bang a gong but ive never heard of a group called "triceratops!"
being a mostly non-violent vegetarian type, I have to go with the triceratops. although where would Jurassic park be without the t-rex.
okay, in the first semi-final, we've got M*A*S*H vs twilight zone.
-
• Group - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triceratops_(band)
• Song - https://www.google.com/search?q=musi...VH3ieB7LA,st:0
Hmmm... tough... go with Twilight Zone (sorry cuz)
Sponge Bob Square Pants or South Park ?
-
hah! I had no idea and was trying to be funny! laughs...
ive never seen an episode of sponge bob but I enjoyed the two sponge bob movies. ive only watched one episode of south park, and enjoyed it.
i'll have to go with the latter because I know they take on societal issues in an irreverent fashion, which in part what I think comedy is supposed to do.
"put a chick in and make it lame and gay!"

the other semi-final:
the andy Griffith show vs night court.
-
Oy...
No contest... Night Court
Nightmare on Elm Street or Scream ?
-
i figured that was an easy one.
ohhhhhhhhhh neither, I stopped watching those slasher/jump scare horror movies back ~1980 I think.
although, which one has the most attractive scantily clad actresses in it?? laughs...
the consolation match:
the andy Griffith show vs M*A*S*H
and a fun piece of trivia---do you a remember an actor from the former who showed up in the latter?
-
Yeah, I don't go for the kill-the-kiddies flix genre either.
M*A*S*H... with a shout out to Ron Howard in both.
Male child actors: Ron Howard or Billy Mumy ?
-
good catch on ron howard, tailor.
theres at least one more actor. think you can get him?
I think rather I have to settle more on the choice between opie taylor and will robinson as opposed to the actors themselves. I believe will was more integral to his show than opie was to his. his being a bit older helped too. so will it is---"danger! danger!"
(but I loved ron howard in happy days)
and the long awaited final match-up of the tv show tournament:
twilight zone vs night court
-
Hmmm, RH was easy... have to give it more thought. Addendum: Nothing came to mind so I googled: https://www.metv.com/lists/10-actors...ry-and-m-a-s-h... 10 total characters!
Night Court !
Laverne or Shirley ?
-
wow ten! I suppose if I were more familiar with andy I would have caught lots more. the only other one that came to mind was the fellow who played goober, and then a visiting doctor to the 4077th. "university of Arkansas, 44, sooooooeeeeee pig!"
I bet harry Anderson was a twilight zone fan.
I really enjoyed that, I hope you did too.
I liked lavernes toughness and grit, but shirley was the cuter, and being a somewhat typical guy, early polls show shirley in the lead!
lets see---if you are up another bracket style tournament? if so, a fruit one or a soda pop one?
-
re: Harry... prolly so - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0716923/
Your choice :)
Pirate Ship or Spaceship ?
-
that looks like a neat show.
I think being a person of some upstanding morals has preserved me from romanticizing pirates! although stories with them in it are good....i'll still go with a spaceship though, how can I not? my desktop wallpaper is a shot of the enterprise from the animated series.
we can go first with a pared down soda pop tournament:
coca cola vs cherry 7up.
