A very kind (and very attractive) optometrist made it official for me today - I need reading glasses. :eek2: All of these years of diligent, devoted reading and using of computers has finally caught up with my eyes, and I require only a small prescription.
Years ago, as I child, I remember teasing a friend of mine who wore glasses, calling him "four eyes," and the like, as children do. What poetic justice enveloped in karma!

...saw carved into a south facing hillside ( and highlighted with painted white rocks) the longitude and latitude of a point on the southwest side of this city, at a place called Signal Hill. The carved and filled numericl representations are startlingly big, a grassy hillside hosting 35 foot (10M) long, imbedded, monster-size numbers... too cool...its good to know I'm not the only one who loves the 'longitude + latitude idea.............WWEEEEeeeeeee..........
It might be fun living at lon 0 and lat0 except that its in the sea :(
