Wife: "What are you doing?"
Me: "Posting on LitNet. . . ."
Wife: *playful grin* "About me, I suppose?"
Me: *playful grin* "Of course! It's called 'Ode to My Beautiful Wife #178'"
Wife: "Yeah. That's right." *smiles*
Just changed my avatar/picture because I finally got around to doing it for this forum; I've already been using this one for about a month on the other forums I happen to be a member of.
Anything that's self-described as "awesome" or as having an exceptional quantity of "awesomeness" is mostly likely created to enable morons to appear more moronic.

i would gladly solve a thousand calculus problems than figure out women.
True awesomeness needs no announcement.
Apologies in advance for the poor sound quality:

Likewise, any sentence that starts with "I don't mean to be mean, but..." is almost certainly going to be very, very mean.
I'm a genius.
It's dark, it's gory, it's even evil... But I like it. Huahahahaha.
I'm going to miss you Lit-Net!
Two years and six days. Time is faster everyday.
*yawn*...very shleepy lit-netter!
“Skills for Life” literacy tutors are increasingly under pressure to demonstrate learner progression by meeting the requirements of the National Literacy Tests at Level 1 and Level 2. They experience a tension between providing creative ‘learner-centred’ teaching and learning experiences, and the pressure of teaching to the requirements of the tests. As a result the experience of reading for pleasure is in danger of being pushed to the margins of group and individual learner experiences and viewed as time-consuming and inappropriate as a class activity.
Tomorrow I'm going to be a senior in college.
Where did the time go?
I suppose it wasn't much. Typical in me.
I should really get up off the couch and start getting ready...I'm watching 'Angel Eyes' and litnetting too...that Jim Caviezel!
Hey, tomorrow I'll be a senior at a retirement home and still don't know where the time's gone...
And for today's random thought:
Bloom, Petty notes, “...split learning into a ‘spectrum’ of tasks or skills which he called ‘taxonomy’. At the bottom, the skills are relatively undemanding but they get more difficult, more connected and much more useful towards the top.” and “... learning is only complete for a given topic when all the skills in the taxonomy are attained.”
Really shouldn't sleep with a notebook next to my softpillow, if I really want to sleep
or
Really shouldn't write with a softpillow next to my notebook, if I really want to write
I wonder why I can't find it within my grasp the goal of slumber :D
If anyone's ever heard of Tupelo Honey, Corb Lund or Glass Tiger, you might be interested to know that I got to security guard them today (there are benefits involved in having a dad who is the largest man in town and who is therefore appointed head of security at every local festival). Glass Tiger was cool, very eighties and their drummer wore a superman t-shirt.
Going to an Amon Amarth concert this sunday! I'm really looking forward to it!
I seriously need a pedicure. I need to stop watching these financial shows so I can go get one.
I hope it rains tomorrow... It would be nice to have slow paced morning!
I don't think I need a pedicure that badly, but I still may benefit from a massage... and also from a message... anyway, I'm more likely to get the former than the latter http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/sc...one-s_head.gif
I just finished watching Live and Let Die. James Bond is perhaps the first action hero to ever have run across crocodiles similar in fashion to frogger. bravo, Mr. Bond. Bravo. This one's for you. :cheers2:
