Very difficult to say, considering the many sciences in existence, but perhaps one of the ancient Greeks, who started much thought concerning science, before scientific instruments, maybe Anaximander, Hippocrates, or Aristotle. In terms of more modern science, especially with all of the branches, I cannot even guess.

For the biological and medical sciences, I would add Galen to the list mono started. Plato and his Forms were also relatively important...
But then you have to start wondering about how many things qualify as science (or the products of science) and this poor question gets entirely out of control! So moving right along...

oh, I think it's up on person, it may even take too short time to feel deeply bored. but when your skin is too wrinkled, you can walk just with help of stick and you're over 90 you probably should feel bored of the life.
