I have a question to you.
doesn't laser affect the skin badly in the future, I heard that it might cause cancer:sick:, is that true? manolia.

Hah, I'm an expert on hand problems. I know exactly what it is like when simply washing your hands hurts like hell (and when the skin is in such a bad condition that doing anything hurts, and in fact even with doing nothing at all you're in constant pain).
If your hands are just dry, my advice would apply some oily cream several times a day and perhaps wear gloves so that you won't leave oily fingerprints everywhere. If you have a rash, too, I'd apply some hydrocortisone as well.
I'll tell you what my doctor told me. Mind you i am no doctor myself so i can't verify his information. I trust him though.
Laser is safe but its better not to do it at those parts of the body that have glands (like breasts, armpits etc). Those parts are very sensitive. I don't have a hair problem myself but i'd like to get rid of all the hair i have on my legs (so i can eventually stop using razor and wax, they both drive me crazy  especially during the summer when i have to shave my legs every third day )
..anyways if you decide on using laser go to a doctor (dermatologist). Do not go to one of those beauty salons. Laser is a tool whick is better left to the hands of a doctor ;) (because you can end up having skin burns if the person isn't skilled enough)..and mind you most of the beauty salons (in my country at least) don't have real laser. They have all those tv ads about quick results and painless, which are both lies. Results aren't quick and surelly the whole process isn't painless. Like i said in the post above my best friend is at her tenth session with the said doctor and she assures me that it hurts.
aha, ok.
Ok, I'm lusting after a purse. I've been looking at it for a few months now but it is expensive so I've been waiting for the sale (I'm hoping it will go down). But I have 3 - $10 reward certificates that are about to expire on the 4th. I think this is a sign to buy the purse now. What do ya'll think?
'lusting'...you've been without the purse all these months..do you really, really need the purse?!
I always ask myself that - of course sometimes I give into the product and just buy, but then other times, I just think about something else, take my mind off it altogether, and eventually it becomes a thing of the past!
Unless you can find something else to buy with those reward certificates, which you might want more than the purse, then yes, go for it!
Check it out, I went to the department store with my rewards certificates planning on not buying the purse. Well, the sales lady told me they were running a sale that if you bring in used but good purse you can get $40 off a new purse!!!!! and the sales lady said I didn't even need the old purse to get the discount because they already had a ton. I think I'll take an old purse up there tomorrow though.
***Okay, I'm going to preface this post with a disclaimer:
I've had a beer or two and I don't have to work tomorrow (Just classes and some accounting adjusting entries --- no biggies). With that being said, here's my post:
Pat Benatar said that Love is a Battlefield, but I say shopping is where the real action takes place. The store is a battlefied. How many times have you been perusing a display or a rack of clothes, only to be interrupted by some woman who comes up and stands in your bubble? She just comes up starts sorting through the clothes or purses that are directly in front of you. She reaches across you and starts sorting through purses. If she bothers to say "excuse me" at all, you know that she doesn't mean it. What she really means is, "Move." Or, "Outta My Biotch." Or simply, "Let's see if I can make you move."
I find it hard to believe that this woman really wants to see the purses or clothes that are in front of me at that very moment. I think it's a power play. I think some women go to stores with the intent of bullying other shoppers by engaging in this behaviour. If you're in a discount store, they push their shopping carts right up to your heels. If you're in a boutique, they're grabbing the clothes off the hangers in front of you. Or, they're grabbing at the itmes you're holding in your hands.
Last night, I went to Target. They had a bunch of racks of clothing on sale. There were cute blouses for $4.98! I got a cute dress for $12!!! Target has cute stuff, but it's kind of trendy, so I don't buy much from Target, but for a discount store, they have a great selection so I was excited to find those awesome sale racks. I wasn't even there for clothes, but I saw 50% off in red and white so I had to check it out.
But, there were other sharks in the water and they swarmed around me, snatching items from my sales rack. Grrr.... One girl came up and starting coughing --- it was the grossest thing. I immediately left the area. Her coughing stopped. That sneaky winch. Great strategy though....
I hate that! that bugs me. what bugs me more is the people who hang around the racks knowing new stuff is gonna be coming out soon and snatch everything before you even get the chance to look!
Not only that they can be down right rude about it as well
Man, I'm sacred to death of Christmas shopping. I hate crowded stores.
