Most people accept it as a proverb, but I think Martin Luther made it famous. ;)Quote:

I need cheering up! Where's Dancing Nana?
Nana ol' boy, it's been a rough week in cyberspace. What do you say to a six-pack of something imported and a little Billy Bragg?
I knew you'd say that!
and if you bury me, add
three feet to it
one for your sorrow, two
for your sweat
three for the strange
things we never forget
and long after we're gone
the light will stay on
and long after we're gone
the light will stay on
------------
and if you bury me, dig
three feet, add
five litres of water
and so many seeds
that it is enough
create a new world
and kill me again
Wow good one Taliesin...I was exactly noticing your absence in the past days!
I read that just a few days ago, and now I can't remember...it was someone more ancient than MLK anyway... maybe some Latin or even Greek guy... I wish I remembered where I read it...Quote:

. . . not Martin Luther King Jr. (I get them easily confused, too, though both, brilliant minds):

ihihi sorry...I thought I had read Martin Luther King...but I was in a hurry... LOL (and as another excuse I can say that my mind added the 'King' cos the other one for me would be Lutero in my native language :P)

thanks. Scheherazade those are great cartoons... not funny in a gary larson way or anything, but wonderful.
Ah, you describe so well how I feel about the man I was together with for 10 years. We were okay lovers. I loved him to bits all the time, but we also hurt each other a lot. We had different dreams, different ambitions.. but had trouble letting each other go. Now we are very, very good friends. And somehow this friendship is more 'pure' and better than what we had the last 2 years or so. Most friends think I am a bit weird for still wanting him as my best friend.. but I can think of him in no other way. He is too special NOT to love, even when he is with someone else.. and I would never have him for my lover again.Quote:

How long is it since I said I didn't want to get close to people I met online anymore, and most of all not to meet them? Well today I met a guy I knew online cos I was going to his city for some business, and anyway all people from that site know each other in person cos it's about sharing music passion so they go to concerts etc... Well it was fun, I had met by chance some people I knew so we spent the day all together and so the real people kinds mixed up with someone I met online (whom I didnt know well anyway, like I dont know that well those other people). Kinda weird day but so nice.
